Верховный представитель Европейского Союза по иностранным делам и политике безопасности – вице-президент Европейской Комиссии Кая Каллас заявила, что прибыла в Армению с четким мессиджем.
ЕС никогда не был так близок к Армении - озвучила суть мессиджа Каллас.
Констатировав успех реформ в последние годы, представитель ЕС заверила в готовности и далее углублять сотрудничество в разных сферах. В качестве финансового содействия она указала программу содействия бизнесу на 2024-27 гг на сумму 270 млн евро, помощь в социальном содействии перемещенным лицам (Каллас при этом не указала откуда и по какой причине перемещены лица).
Верховный представитель ЕС указала важность контактов между людьми, развития диалога о либерализации визового режима. Каллас отметила деятельность ЕС с точки зрения содействия миру и стабильности, в связи с чем указала «важную роль миссии ЕС». «Вчера я посетила и ознакомилась с работой миссии», - сообщила Каллас.
Она также сообщила, что сегодня подписано рамочное соглашение в области управления кризисными ситуациями, которое позволяет Армении участвовать в миссиях ЕС в мире.
Еще раз заявив о содействии развитию демократии в Армении, Каллас заверила, что «ЕС рядом с Арменией для содействия усилиям».
