Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան  հուլիսի 2-ին պատասխանելով թալիշական ծագում ունեցող պատմաբան և ակտիվիստ Զահիրադին Իբրահիմովի Ադրբեջանի կողմից առևանգման մասին հայ լրագրողի հարցին, հայտարարել է, որ նա Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացի է և կալանավորվել է Բաքվի պահանջով։

Մասնավորապես, հայ լրագրողը նշել է, որ Զահիրադինի հետագա ճակատագրով հետաքքրքրվում էր Բաքվի կոշտ արձագանքի հետնապատկերում՝ Եկատերինբուրգում քրեական հանցագործություններ կատարելու մեղադրանքով Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացիություն ունեցող Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացիների ձերբակալման առնչությամբ։

Նա իր հետաքրքրությունը բացատրել է նրանով, որ Բաքուն նույնպես պահանջներ ունի հայերի նկատմամբ, և մտածել է, թե արդյոք նման բան կարող է պատահել հայերի հետ։

«Քանի որ դուք ինձ այս հարցը տվեցիք, պարզապես հիշեցնեմ, որ մայիսի 15-ին ԱԳՆ-ն արդեն մեկնաբանել է այդ պատմությունը։ Ռուսաստանի օրենսդրությունը, ինչպես գիտեք, չի նախատեսում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության քաղաքացիների արտահանձնում, հետևաբար, Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացի Իբրահիմովը արտահանձնվել է Բաքվի խնդրանքով։ Ժամանակին նա զրկվել էր Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացիությունից՝ անօրինական գործողություններ կատարելու համար։

Այժմ, Եկատերինբուրգում ՌԴ քաղաքացիների վերջերս ձերբակալմանն առնչվող իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ, ինչպես նշել են իրավապահ մարմինները, քրեական պատմություն է, այս քրեական պատմության մեջ ներգրավված անձինք մեծ քրեական փորձ ունեն։ Դա չի նշանակում, որ համապատասխան պատիժ ստանալով՝ ինչ-որ մեկն իրավունք ունի, այսպես ասած, մեղադրել նրանց դրա համար, եթե նրանք արդեն կրել են իրենց պատիժը, ստացել և պատժվել են։ Բայց ես պարզապես գնահատում եմ ամբողջ իրավիճակը՝ որպես ամբողջություն և ընդհանուր առմամբ։ Նրանք կասկածվում են ծանր հանցագործություններ կատարելու մեջ, այդ թվում՝ սպանության մեջ։ Ես կրկին ուզում եմ ձեր ուշադրությունը հրավիրել այն փաստի վրա, որ այս տեղեկությունը տրամադրել է մեր երկրի քննչական կոմիտեն», -նշել է Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչը։
