«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Պատերազմական լեգենդները հաճախ ընկալվում են որպես անվիճելի ճշմարտություն: Օրինակ՝ տարածված համոզմունք է, որ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի ժամանակ լեգենդար «ժողկոմական 100 գրամ» ալկոհոլը վճռորոշ ազդեցություն է ունեցել խորհրդային զինվորների մարտունակության վրա:

Զինծառայողներին ալկոհոլով ապահովելու ավանդույթը հին է։ Հայտնի է, որ նույնիսկ Հին Ռուսաստանում սովորություն կար արշավից առաջ «մի բաժակ» խմել: Դրա ավելի փաստագրված պրակտիկան սկիզբ է առել Պետրոս I-ի ժամանակներից. նա մտցրել է զինվորներին օղու պարտադիր բաժանման նորմը, որն այն ժամանակ կոչվում էր «հացի գինի»։ Առաջինները, ովքեր կանոնավոր կերպով ալկոհոլ էին ստանում, նավաստիներն էին: Ցածր կոչում ունեցողներին օրական տրվում էր 120 գրամ օղի։ Հետաքրքիր է, որ կարելի էր հրաժարվել օղուց, որի դեպքում դրա դիմաց դրամական փոխհատուցում էր տրվում։ Ժամանակի ընթացքում այդ ավանդույթը տարածվել է նաև ցամաքային զորքերում: Հետագայում ռուսական բանակում ալկոհոլի չափից ավելի օգտագործումը հանգեցրել է նրան, որ 1904-1905 թվականների Ռուս-ճապոնական պատերազմում պարտության պատճառներից մեկն է նշվում զինվորական անձնակազմի՝ հատկապես նավատորմի չափից ավելի հարբեցողությունը: Արդյունքում, 1908 թվականին ամբողջովին դադարեցվել է զինվորներին և նավաստիներին ալկոհոլի տրամադրումը, ինչպես նաև արգելվել է թունդ խմիչքների վաճառքը բանակի բուֆետներում և նույնիսկ առաջին գծի խանութներում ռազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ: Այդ արգելքը տևել է ավելի քան երեք տասնամյակ։ Այնուամենայնիվ, 1940 թվականին, երբ Խորհրդա-ֆիննական պատերազմի ժամանակ Կարմիր բանակը բախվել է ձմեռային ծանր պայմանների հետ, պաշտպանության ժողկոմ Կլիմ Վորոշիլովը Ստալինին խնդրել է զինվորական անձնակազմի համար օրական օղու քվոտա սահմանել: Արդյունքում թույլատրվել է զինվորներին ու հրամանատարներին բաժանել 100 գրամ ալկոհոլ և 50 գրամ խոզի ճարպ։

Այդ նոր հրամանից էլ առաջացել են «ժողկոմական 100 գրամ» և «վորոշիլովյան չափ» արտահայտությունները։ Ռազմական գործողությունների ավարտից հետո ալկոհոլի տրամադրման պրակտիկան դադարեցվել է, բայց ոչ երկար ժամանակով։ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի սկզբին Կարմիր բանակը կրկին վերադարձել է զինվորներին ալկոհոլով ապահովելու պրակտիկային։ Ընդ որում, ալկոհոլի հոսքը դեպի ճակատ այնքան զգալի էր, որ ալկոհոլային խմիչքների գործարանները չէին հասցնում հաղթահարել աճող պահանջարկը: Դրա հետ կապված՝ սկսել են օգտագործել սպիրտ՝ այն արդեն տեղում հասցնելով ստանդարտ թնդության։

Հարցը, թե արդյո՞ք օղին իրականում օգնել է հաղթել պատերազմում, մնում է բաց: Որոշ վետերաններ նշում են, որ ալկոհոլը թույլ է տվել դիմանալ կոշտ կլիմայական պայմաններին, հատկապես սաստիկ սառնամանիքների ժամանակ, երբ զինվորները ստիպված են եղել գիշերել հենց բաց երկնքի տակ։ Մյուս կողմից էլ՝ շատ են նրանք, ովքեր քննադատում են ալկոհոլի խրախուսման պրակտիկան։ Առաջնագծում եղած որոշ վետերաններ պնդում են, որ օղին բթացնում է ինքնապահպանման բնազդը, ինչի պատճառով անփորձ զինվորները դրա ազդեցության տակ անխոհեմաբար առաջ են նետվում և զոհվում: Մարտական փորձ ունեցողները ավելի զգուշավոր են եղել ալկոհոլի նկատմամբ՝ հասկանալով դրա հնարավոր հետևանքները։ Հետագայում՝ 1942 թվականին, Ստալինը փոփոխություններ է կատարել և թույլատրել օղու բաշխումը միայն այն ստորաբաժանումներին, որոնք գտնվում էին հարձակման մեջ։ Մնացած դեպքերում ալկոհոլը թույլատրվում էր միայն կարևոր տոների կապակցությամբ։ Հետաքրքիր է, որ, օրինակ՝ Ֆիզիկական դաստիարակության օրը ևս անսպասելիորեն հայտնվել է այդ ցուցակում:
