Իսպանիայում բռնկված անտառային հրդեհը և Եվրոպայում ջերմաստիճանի կտրուկ բարձրացումը ևս վեց մարդու կյանք են խլել, քանի որ մայրցամաքում ջերմաստիճանը հասել է 40 աստիճան ըստ Ցելսիուսի, հաղորդում է BBC News-ը։

Իսպանիայի Կատալոնիա շրջանի Կոկ քաղաքի մոտակայքում բռնկված հրդեհի հետևանքով երկու ագարակատեր է մահացել։ Իշխանությունները հայտնել են, որ ագարակի աշխատողն օգնության է կանչել իր ղեկավարին, սակայն նրանք չեն կարողացել փրկվել, քանի որ կրակը տարածվել է մեծ տարածքի վրա:

Իտալիայում երկու տղամարդ մահացել է Սարդինիայի լողափերում ինքնազգացողության վատանալուց հետո, իսկ 80-ամյա մի տղամարդ մահացել է սրտի անբավարարությունից՝ Ջենովայի հիվանդանոց տեղափոխվելուց հետո։

10-ամյա ամերիկուհի աղջնակն, ըստ տեղեկությունների, ուշաթափվել և մահացել է Փարիզից հարավ-արևմուտք ընկած Վերսալի պալատ այցելելիս։

Ավելի վաղ Ֆրանսիայի էկոլոգիական անցման հարցերով նախարար Ագնես Պանիե-Ռունաշերը հայտարարել էր, որ Ֆրանսիայում գրանցվել է շոգի հետ կապված երկու մահվան դեպք, և որ ավելի քան 300 մարդ շտապ օգնություն է աստացել։ Եվրոպական մայրցամաքում ջերմաստիճանի ծայրահեղ բարձրացում է նկատվում, որը, ՄԱԿ-ի կլիմայական գործակալության տվյալներով, կլիմայի անտրոպոգեն փոփոխության պատճառով ավելի հաճախակի է դառնում։

Իսպանիան և Անգլիան հունիսը դարձել է պատմության մեջ ամենաշոգ ամիսը։ Իսպանիայի օդերևութաբանական ծառայությունը՝ Aemet-ը, հայտարարել է, որ անցյալ ամսվա միջին ջերմաստիճանը՝ 23,6 աստիճան Ցելսիուս (74,5 աստիճան ըստ Ֆարենհայթի), «խփել է բոլոր ռեկորդները»՝ գերազանցելով հուլիս և օգոստոս ամիսների միջին ցուցանիշները։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, Հունաստանում բռնկված երկու անտառային հրդեհների պատճառով արտակարգ տարհանումներ են հայտարարվել, իշխանությունները նախազգուշացրել են հրդեհների շատ բարձր ռիսկի մասին բազմաթիվ տարածքներում, այդ թվում՝ Ատտիկայում, Կրետեում, Պելոպոնեսի և Եգեյան կղզիների որոշ հատվածներում։

Հալկիդիկիում Վուրվուրու ափամերձ գյուղի մոտակայքում արագ տարածվող հրդեհը այրել է դյուրավառ սոճու անտառը, բնակիչներին և հանգստացողներին ստիպելով փախչել։ Տարածքում էլեկտրաէներգիայի անջատումներ են տեղի ունենում, և 65 հրշեջ, ցամաքային և օդային անձնակազմեր պայքարում են զառիթափ լանջերին կրակի դեմ։

Կրետեում Իերապետրայի մոտակայքում բռնկված առանձին անտառային հրդեհը տագնապ է առաջացրել Ախլիայում, Ֆերմայում, Ագիա Ֆոտիայում և Գալինիում, ինչի հետևանքով տարհանվել են տներն ու հյուրանոցները։
