Դերասան Ջորջ Քլունին «Էլլեն Դեդջեներսի շոու»-ի ընթացքում պատմել է, թե ինչպես է ամուսնության առաջարկ արել իր կնոջը՝ Ամալ Ալամուդդինին:
2014 թվականին հարսանեկան երեկույթի ժամանակ Ամալ Ալամուդինի ընկերուհին պատմել էր, որ Ամալը երկար ժամանակ է ինչ չի կարողանում իրեն կյանքի ընկեր գտնել: Շատ անգամ խելացի և հաջողակ կանայք վանում են տղամարդկանց: Խելացի և հաջողակ կանայք իրենք էլ չեն հանդիպում ամեն տեսակի տղամարդկանց հետ և սպասում են կատարյալին:
Զույգը ամուսնացել է սեպտեմբերի 26-ին Վենետիկում: Հարսանեկան արարողությանը ներկա են եղել շատ հայտիներ և այն շարունակվել է երեք օր:
Վերջին օրերին դերասան Ջորջ Քլունին շոուներից մեկի ժամանակ պատմել է, թե ինչպիսի դժվարություն է եղել իր համար Ամալին ամուսնության առաջարկ անելը:
«Ես շատ մանրակրկիտ պատրաստվել էի այդ երեկոյին: Թաքցրել էի մատանին լուցկու տուփի մեջ, դրել էի արկղի մեջ, պատրաստել էի ընթրիք: Ամալը հենց այդ ժամանակ վերադարձել էր Լոնդոնից: Միացրել էր "Why shouldn’t I?" երաժշտությունը, որը կատարում էր իր մորաքույրը: Եվ ահա երգը ավարտվում է, ընթրիքն էլ մոտենում է ավարտին, մոտենում է «այդ պահը»: Եվ այդ պահին Ամալը վեր է կենում և գնում է ափսեները լվանալու, ինչը նա կյանքում չէր արել: Ես նրան ասում եմ ի՞նչ ես անում, նա վերադառնում է և ես նրան ասում եմ: Պատահաբար հանգցրել եմ մոմը, խնդրում եմ փոխանցիր ինձ լուցկիներով տուփը, այն քո մեջքի ետևում է: Նա բացում է տուփը և ասում է. «Չէ այստեղ ինչ-որ մատանի է»: Նա ընդհանրապես չէր հասկացել, որ դա ամուսնության առաջարկ էր, արդյունքում ես ծնկի իջա և ասացի նրան, որ չեմ պատկերացնում իմ կյանքը առանց նրա և ցանկանում եմ, որ նա իմ կինը դառնա»,-պատմել է Քլունին:
