Հայաստանում Իրանի դեսպան Մեհդի Սոբհանին հայտարարել է, որ Տնտեսական համագործակցության կազմակերպության վերջերս կայացած գագաթնաժողովի արդյունքներով ընդունված կոմյունիկեի որոշ դրույթներ, որտեղ օգտագործվել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքային ամբողջականությունը խախտող շինծու հասկացություններ, չեն համապատասխանում Իրանի դիրքորոշմանը։ Իրանը պաշտոնական գրությամբ իր վերապահումներն է հայտնել Տնտեսական համագործակցության կազմակերպությանը այս հայտարարության վերաբերյալ։
«Արմենպրես»-ի հարցին ի պատասխան՝ դեսպանը նշել է, որ այդ հայտարարությունն ընդամենը արտացոլում է գագաթնաժողովի նախագահի (խմբ. Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիև) տեսակետները, և պարտադիր չէ, որ դա արտացոլի գագաթնաժողովի մասնակից երկրների դիրքորոշումները։
«Ինչպես մենք մեր դիրքորոշումը արտահայտեցինք Ստամբուլում վերջերս հրապարակված Իսլամական պետությունների համագործակցության հայտարարության վերաբերյալ, այս հայտարարության մեջ ներառված որոշ դրույթներ, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նկատմամբ տարածքային պահանջներ ներառող շինծու հասկացությունները, հակասում են բարեկամ և հարևան երկրի՝ Հայաստանի հանրապետության նկատմամբ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումներին և հաստատման ենթակա չեն։
Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը, ինչպես նախկինում, աջակցում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության միջև խաղաղության բանակցությունների գործընթացին և կարևորում է խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը, որի դրույթները հաստատվել են երկու կողմերի կողմից։
Մենք պաշտոնական գրությամբ մեր վերապահումները հայտնել ենք «Տնտեսական համագործակցության կազմակերպությանը» այս հայտարարության վերաբերյալ»,- նշել է Մեհդի Սոբհանին։
Հուլիսի 3-4-ը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքում անցկացվել է Տնտեսական համագործակցության կազմակերպության 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովը, որին մասնակցել են Ադրբեջանը, Թուրքիան, Իրանը, Աֆղանստանը, Տաջիկստանը, Ղրղզստանը, Պակիստանը, Ղազախստանը, Ուզբեկստանը, Թուրքմենստանը և Իրանը։ Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հրապարակել էր հայտարարություն գագաթնաժողովի արդյունքներով կոմյունիկե ընդունելու վերաբերյալ, որում տեղ էին գտել ադրբեջանական քարոզչամեքենայի հերթական կեղծ ձևակերպումներն ադրբեջանցիների՝ իբր Հայաստանի տարածք վերադարձի իրավունքի մասին։
