Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենը հայտարարությամբ է հանդես եկել՝ մեկնաբանելով ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ Եվրամիությունից ներմուծվող ապրանքների վրա 30%-անոց մաքսատուրքեր սահմանելու մասին նամակը։
Ըստ նրա, ԵՄ արտահանման վրա 30 տոկոսանոց մաքսատուրքերի սահմանումը «կխաթարի անդրատլանտյան կարևորագույն մատակարարման շղթաները, ինչը վնաս կհասցնի բիզնեսին, սպառողներին և պացիենտներին Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսի երկու կողմերում»։
