Իսրայելցիները ոչ միայն օգնեցին Ադրբեջանին 2020 թվականին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում սանձազերծած դաժան պատերազմում, այլև Բաքվին պատասխանեցին փոխադարձությամբ՝ Իսրայելի և Իրանի միջև 12-օրյա պատերազմի սկզբում իսրայելցիներին թույլ տալով անօդաչու թռչող սարքերով բազմաթիվ հարվածներ հասցնել իրանական հրթիռներին և հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերին, գրում է The National Interest-ը։
«Ավելին, Իսրայելը շարունակում է Ադրբեջանն օգտագործել որպես Իսլամական Հանրապետության դեմ իր անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի և հետախուզական գործողությունների համար յուրատեսակ առաջադեմ օպերատիվ բազա»։
Եթե Ադրբեջանը կարողանա լիովին յուրացնել Հայաստանի միջով անցնող միջանցքը, կկարողանա կառուցել խողովակաշար, որը կկապի իր գազային հանքավայրերը թուրք սպառողների հետ։ Մինչև վերջերս, ադրբեջանցիները ստիպված էին Իրանին տարանցման գումար վճարել՝ թուրք սպառողներին իրենց բնական գազը մատակարարելու համար։ Սակայն, եթե Բաքվի ղեկավարությունը կարողանար խողովակաշար կառուցել այս միջանցքով, դա կանջատեր Իրանին մատակարարումներից՝ այդպիսով զրկելով Թեհրանին եկամտի մեկ այլ կարևոր աղբյուրից հենց այն ժամանակ, երբ Իրանն արդեն իսկ Արևմուտքի պատժամիջոցների ճնշման տակ է։
Հենց այս համատեքստում էլ Աբու Դաբիում տեղի ունեցան Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև բանակցությունները։ Այս բանակցությունները երկարատև կրոնական վեճը լուծելու փորձ չեն, այլ մեծ աշխարհաքաղաքական խաղ՝ Եվրասիայի խորքի այն տարածքների նկատմամբ գերիշխանության համար, որոնք ավանդաբար գտնվում են Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի և Չինաստանի իրավասության ներքո»,- նշում է The National Interest-ը։
