Հայոց եկեղեցու պահպանության համահայկական խորհուրդը խստորեն դատապարտում է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կողմից այսօրվա մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում կրկին դրսևորած հակաեկեղեցական, հարձակողական հռետորաբանությունը։ Վարչապետը, պետական բարձր ամբիոնն օգտագործելով ոչ թե համախմբման, այլ պառակտման նպատակով, շարունակեց խաթարել Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու հեղինակությունը և ներքին անդորրը։ Այսօր հնչեցրած հայտարարությունները բացահայտ հակասում են Հայաստանի Սահմանադրության հիմնարար դրույթներին, որոնք երաշխավորում են թե՛ կրոնական կազմակերպությունների ազատ գործունեությունը, թե՛ Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու բացառիկ դերակատարությունը հայ ժողովրդի կյանքում։
Փաշինյանի նետերն ուղղված են այն ինստիտուտի դեմ, որը մեկուկես հազարամյակից ավել պահել ու միավորել է աշխարհասփյուռ հայությանը։ Պետական իշխանության բարձրագույն ղեկավարը հրապարակայնորեն միջամտում է մի կառույցի ներքին գործերին, որի «նորոգման» կարգը կարող է որոշել միայն եկեղեցական կանոնական իրավունքը, ոչ թե Հայաստանի գործադիր մարմնի ղեկավարը։
Նման ելույթները արհեստականորեն բաժանում են հոգևորականներին «ճիշտ» ու «սխալ» խմբերի՝ սերմանելով անվստահություն և ստեղծելով վտանգավոր նախադեպ, որտեղ քաղաքական իշխանությունը իրեն վերապահում է չափել հավատքի սահմանները։ Սա ոչ միայն խեղում է եկեղեցու ինքնիշխան բնույթը, այլ նաև սպառնում է վերածվել «վհուկների որսի», որտեղ «անհնազանդ» ձայները կարող են լռեցվել պետական լծակներով։
Հայոց եկեղեցու պահպանության Համահայկական խորհուրդը դատապարտում է վարչապետի շարունակական հայտարարությունները, որոնք հակասում են նաև միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերին, որտեղ հստակ շեշտվում է, որ պետությունը պետք է զերծ մնա եկեղեցական կառույցները «բարեփոխելու» փորձերից։ Այս թեմայով խորհուրդը մոտ օրերս հանգամանալից զեկույց կներկայացնի հասարակությանը:
