Մեծ Բրիտանիան բացահայտել է 18 ռուսաստանցի լրտեսի և նրանց ստորաբաժանումները, որոնք պատասխանատու են Մեծ Բրիտանիայում կիբերհարձակումների և Սոլսբերիի թունավորումների զոհերից մեկի հեռախոսը կոտրելու համար, հայտարարել է երկրի արտգործնախարար Դևիդ Լեմին, գրում է The Guardian-ը։

Հայտարարելով անհատական պատժամիջոցների մասին՝ Լեմին նշել է, որ վերջին տարիներին Ռուսաստանը թիրախավորել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի զանգվածային լրատվամիջոցները, հեռահաղորդակցության պրովայդերներին, քաղաքական ու ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտները և էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքները։

Նա նաև հայտնել է, որ լրտեսներից երկուսը ներգրավված են եղել X-Agent լրտեսական ծրագրի տեղադրմանը մի սարքի վրա, որից օգտվում էր նախկին հետախույզ Սերգեյ Սկրիպալի դուստրը՝ Յուլիա Սկրիպալը, դեռևս հինգ տարի առաջ, երբ նրանց 2018 թվականին Սոլսբերիում թունավորեցին «Նովիչոկով»։

Ենթադրվում է, որ X-Agent-ը կապված է Fancy Bear հաքերային խմբի հետ, որն իր հերթին կապեր ունի Ռուսաստանի Գլխավոր հետախուզական վարչության (ԳՀՎ) 26165 ստորաբաժանման հետ, որի դեմ պատժամիջոցներ են սահմանվել։ Կառավարությունը հայտարարել է, որ այդ ստորաբաժանման որոշ գործակալներ նաև մասնակցել են «Ուկրաինայի Մարիուպոլի թատրոնում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության կազմակերպմանը», որի հետևանքով զոհվել են հարյուրավոր խաղաղ բնակիչներ, այդ թվում՝ երեխաներ, ինչպես նաև Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին աջակցելու նպատակով ավելի լայնածավալ կիբերգործողությունների իրականացմանը։

«ԳՀՎ լրտեսները Եվրոպան ապակայունացնելու, Ուկրաինայի ինքնիշխանությունը խարխլելու և բրիտանացի քաղաքացիների անվտանգությանը սպառնալու արշավ են իրականացնում։ Կրեմլը չպետք է կասկածներ ունենա։ Մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչ են նրանք փորձում անել ստվերում, և մենք դա չենք հանդուրժի», - հայտարարել է Բրիտանիայի ԱԳ նախարարը։
