Հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ լուրջ թոքային վարակներով հոսպիտալացված նորածինների թվի նվազումը կապված է հղի կանանց պատվաստման հետ։
Հետազոտության արդյունքները հրապարակվել են The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health ամսագրում։
Հետազոտական համագործակցությանը մասնակցել են նաև Բրիստոլի, Օքսֆորդի, Բելֆաստի Թագավորական, Լոս Անջելեսի Կալիֆոռնիայի և Լոնդոնի Կայսերական քոլեջի համալսարանները, ինչպես նաև Անգլիայի և Շոտլանդիայի 30 հիվանդանոցներ։
Գիտնականները պարզել են, որ 2024 թվականի ամռան վերջին Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ներդրված շնչառական-սինցիտիալ վիրուսի (ՇՍՎ) դեմ պատվաստանյութը հանգեցրել է նրան, որ մայրերի պատվաստված լինելու դեպքում՝ այս վիրուսով հոսպիտալացված նորածինների թիվը կրճատվում է 72%-ով։
«Ստացված արդյունքներն առաջինն են, որոնք ցույց են տվել Մեծ Բրիտանիայում հղի կանանց համար պատվաստանյութի իրական արդյունավետությունը։
Փորձագետների կարծիքով՝ հղի կանանց պատվաստումը կարող է օգնել կրճատել ամեն ձմեռ հիվանդացող նորածինների թիվը, ինչը կթեթևացնի հիվանդանոցների ծանրաբեռնվածությունը։
ՇՍՎ-ն տարածված վիրուս է, որն առաջացնում է հազ և մրսածություն, բայց կարող է հանգեցնել թոքերի ծանր վարակի՝ բրոնխիոլիտի, որը կարող է վտանգավոր լինել նորածինների համար, իսկ նրանցից մի քանիսը կարիք ունեն ինտենսիվ թերապիայի։ Պատվաստումից հետո մոր մոտ առաջացած հակամարմինները (սպիտակուցներ, որոնք օգնում են կանխել ծանր վարակ առաջացնող վիրուսի տարածումը), փոխանցվում են պտղին և ծնվելուց հետո առաջին վեց ամիսների ընթացքում պաշտպանում են ՇՍՎ-ի ծանր տեսակից»։
Ըստ Էդինբուրգի և Լեսթերի համալսարանների գլխավորած հետազոտական խմբի՝ Անգլիայի և Շոտլանդիայի 537 նորածիններ, որոնք հոսպիտալացվել են 2024-2025 թվականների ձմռանը՝ պատվաստանյութի ներդրման առաջին սեզոնին ունեցել են շնչառական ծանր հիվանդություններ։
Հետազոտված 391 երեխայի մոտ հայտնաբերվել է ՇՍՎ վիրուս։ Այն երեխաների մայրերը, որոնց մոտ ՇՍՎ չի հայտնաբերվել՝ երկու անգամ ավելի հաճախ են ստացել պատվաստանյութը, քան այն երեխաների մայրերը, որոնց մոտ ՇՍՎ-ն եղել է դրական. 41%՝ 19%-ի դիմաց։
Պատվաստանյութի ստացումը ծննդաբերությունից ավելի քան 14 օր առաջ ապահովել է ավելի բարձր պաշտպանիչ ազդեցություն. հոսպիտալացումների թիվը կրճատվել է 72%-ով՝ նորածինների մոտ 58%-ի դիմաց, որոնց մայրերը պատվաստվել են ծննդաբերությունից առաջ ցանկացած ժամանակ։
Փորձագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս պատվաստվել հնարավորինս շուտ՝ սկսած հղիության 28-րդ շաբաթից, քանի որ դա հնարավորություն է տալիս մայրիկին արտադրել պաշտպանական հակամարմիններ և փոխանցել դրանք երեխային, սակայն հնարավոր է նաև հրաժարվել պատվաստումից մինչև ծննդաբերությունը։
