Հուլիսի 21-ին երկօրյա աշխատանքային այցով Թբիլիսի է մեկնել ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը։
Դիմավորման պաշտոնական արարողության ընթացքում Հայաստանի ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանն ու Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախարար Գելա Գելաձեն ծաղկեպսակ են դրել ծառայողական պարտականությունները կատարելիս զոհված ոստիկանների հուշակոթողին։ Այնուհետև տեղի է ունեցել երկկողմ հանդիպում։
Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախարար Գելա Գելաձեն, ողջունելով Հայաստանի պատվիրակությանը, կարևորել է ջերմ ու բարեկամական հարաբերություններն ինչպես երկու երկրների, այնպես էլ ՆԳ նախարարությունների միջև։
Նախարար Գելաձեն ընդգծել է, որ հաճախակի հանդիպումները նպաստում են բարեկամության ու գործընկերային հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը։
Վրաստանի Ներքին գործերի նախարարի խոսքով՝ իրավապահ երկու համակարգերի միջև ձևավորված օպերատիվ կապն անդրազգային
հանցավորության դեմ առավել արդյունավետ պայքարի կարևորագույն գործիք է։
Հայաստանի ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, ընդգծել է, որ երկու պետությունները ոչ միայն կիսում են պետական սահմանն, այլև ունեն դարավոր բարեկամություն, մշակութային ու ռազմավարական ամուր կապեր՝ հիմնված երկու ժողովուրդների միջև առկա փոխադարձ հարգանքի վրա։
Նախարար Սարգսյանը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ Գելա Գելաձեի պաշտոնավարման օրոք երկու կառույցների միջև հարաբերություններն առավել կսերտանան։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկման առարկա են դարձել երկու գերատեսչությունների գործունեության ոլորտի մի շարք ուղղություններ, որոնք գտնվում են համագործակցության բարձր մակարդակի վրա։
Հաջորդիվ Վրաստանի և Հայաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարները ստորագրել են ռեադմիսիոն (հետընդունման) համաձայնագիր, որը հնարավորություն կտա առավել արդյունավետ կառավարել միգրացիոն հոսքերը։
Այնուհետև նախարարներ Արփինե Սարգսյանն ու Գելա Գելաձեն առանձնազրույց են ունեցել։
