ԱՄՆ-ի, Իսրայելի և Սիրիայի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաները, ինչպես սպասվում է, հինգշաբթի կհանդիպեն՝ փորձելով Սիրիայի հարավում տիրող իրավիճակի առնչությամբ համաձայնության գալ անվտանգության շուրջ, հաղորդում է Axios-ը՝ վկայակոչելով աղբյուրներին։

Սա կողմերի միջև առաջին հանդիպումը կլինի անցյալ շաբաթ Սիրիայի հարավային Աս-Սուեյդա քաղաքում ճգնաժամի բռնկումից հետո, որին հաջորդեցին Դամասկոսի վրա Իսրայելի հասցրած հարվածները։

Հանդիպումը կվարի Սիրիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Թոմ Բարաքը, որը վերջին շաբաթներին միջնորդի դեր է ստանձնել կողմերի միջև։ Աղբյուրները հայտնել են, որ միջոցառմանը ներկա կլինեն նաև Իսրայելի և Սիրիայի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ։

Ակնկալվում է, որ հանդիպումը կկենտրոնանա Սիրիայի հարավում անվտանգության միջոցառումների և Իսրայելի ու Սիրիայի միջև համակարգման ու հաղորդակցության ամրապնդման վրա՝ երկրների միջև անցյալ շաբաթ տեղի ունեցածի նման ճգնաժամերը կանխելու համար։

«Այժմ հարաբերական անդորր է, սակայն հիմնարար հարցերը չեն լուծվի առանց ԱՄՆ-ի, Իսրայելի և Սիրիայի կառավարության միջև համապարփակ համաձայնագրերի», - հայտարարել է իսրայելցի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյան։

Դեռևս պարզ չէ, թե որտեղ է տեղի ունենալու հանդիպումը։ Նախորդ հանդիպումները տեղի են ունեցել Բաքվում Իսրայելի ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդական Ցախի Հանեգբիի և Սիրիայի արտգործնախարար Ասադ աշ-Շեյբանիի միջև։ Անցյալ երեքշաբթի Իսրայելը ռմբակոծեց սիրիական բանակի տանկերի շարասյունը, որը շարժվում էր դեպի Սուեյդա քաղաք՝ ի պատասխան դրուզ աշխարհազորայինների և զինված բեդվին ցեղերի միջև տեղի ունեցած բախումների։

Իսրայելը պնդում էր, թե շարասյունը մտել է Սիրիայի հարավում տեղակայված ապառազմականացման գոտի, և որ սիրիական զորքերը մասնակցել են դրուզ փոքրամասնության դեմ հարձակումներին, ինչը Սիրիան հերքում է։

Հաջորդ օրը Իսրայելը ավիահարվածներ հասցրեց Դամասկոսին, ներառյալ՝ նախագահական պալատի մերձակայքիմ։ ԱՄՆ պաշտոնյաները դա համարեցին Սիրիայի և Իսրայելի կառավարությունների միջև թյուրըմբռնում։ Իսրայելի ավիահարվածները մտահոգել են ԱՄՆ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներին և սրել նրանց մտահոգությունները տարածաշրջանում Իսրայելի քաղաքականության վերաբերյալ։
