Հուլիսի վերջին մոլեգնած շոգի ալիքի պատճառով ԱՄՆ-ում, Հյուսիսային Ֆլորիդայից մինչև Հյուսիսային Հարթավայրեր, 62 միլիոն մարդ շոգի վտանգի մասին նախազգուշացումներ են ստացել, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։

Միսիսիպիի և Օհայոյի հովիտներում սպասվում է ջերմային գմբեթի ուժեղացում, որի արդյունքում Կանզասից մինչև Միսիսիպի խիստ բարձր ջերմաստիճան կգրանցվի։

Շաբաթվա կեսին շոգը կտարածվի դեպի Միջին Արևմուտքի վերին հատվածներ, իսկ ուրբաթ կտեղափոխվի Արևելյան ափ։

Շոգի մասին նախազգուշացում ստացած խոշոր քաղաքներից են Նոր Օռլեանը (Լուիզիանա նահանգ), Մեմֆիսը (Թենեսի նահանգ), Լիթլ Ռոքը, (Արկանզաս նահանգ), Սենթ Լուիսը, Կանզաս Սիթին (Միսսուրի նահանգ), Չիկագոն, (Իլինոյս նահանգ), և Մինեապոլիսը (Մինեսոտա նահանգ)։

Միևնույն ժամանակ, Ալաբամա նահանգի Մոբիլ և Ֆլորիդա նահանգի Պենսակոլա քաղաքներում կանխատեսվում է ռեկորդային ջերմաստիճան։ Ջերմաստիճանը կհասնի մինչև 90 Ֆարենհայթի (32,2 աստիճան ըստ Ցելսիուսի), բավականաչափ տաք՝ հարավ-արևելքում օրական ռեկորդներ սահմանելու համար։

Ազգային օդերևութաբանական ծառայության տվյալներով՝ կենտրոնական հարթավայրերից մինչև հարավ-արևելք ջերմաստիճանը կտատանվի ամեն օր 100-110 աստիճան ըստ Ֆարենհայթի, իսկ տեղական առավելագույն ջերմաստիճանը կհասնի 115 աստիճան ըստ Ֆարենհայթի։

Հյուսիս-արևելքում չորեքշաբթի սպասվում է ջերմաստիճանի և խոնավության բարձրացում, իսկ ուրբաթ՝ շոգը կհասնի գագաթնակետին։

Ըստ Climate Central-ի վերլուծության՝ ԱՄՆ բնակչության գրեթե կեսն առնվազն երեք անգամ մարդածին կլիմայի փոփոխության պատճառով ծայրահեղ շոգի կբախվի։
