POLITICS-Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն արդեն փոշմանել է, գիտակցում է, որ այդպիսի արկածախնդրությունը կործանարար հետեւանքներ կարող է ունենալ մեր երկրի ու իր քաղաքական կարիերայի համար եւ ուղղակի հետ կկանգնի այդ աղետալի արկածախնդրությունից: Մենք այստեղ ենք, որ ցույց տանք մեր նվիրումը մեր եկեղեցուն, նրա նվիրապետական կարգին, նրա 1700 տարիներով եկած ու մեզ հասած ինստիտուցիոնալ խորությանը, ինստիտուցիոնալ հիշողությանը եւ մեր ազգային ինքնության պահպանության հարցում նրա ունեցած առանցքային դերին,- այսօր լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց «Հայաքվե» նախաձեռնության համակարգող Ավետիք Չալաբյանը:
Նա նաեւ նկատեց, որ ամենեւին չի ենթադրում, որ մեր եկեղեցին չունի խնդիրներ, բայց. «Մեր ամբողջ հասարակությունն ունի խնդիրներ, որ պետք է լուծվեն, բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ, որ կուտակվել են, բայց դա եկեղեցու գործն է: Դրսից ցանկացած միջամտություն, այն էլ բռնի միջամտություն ոչ միայն եկեղեցու, այլեւ մեր ամբողջ ազգի համար աղետալի հետեւանքներ կարող է ունենալ: Այստեղ ենք, որ այդպիսի միջամտություն թույլ չտանք: Որովհետեւ այդպիսի միջամտություն բարոյական հարթության մեջ բացարձակ սնանկ, սրբապիղծ է, իրավական հարթության մեջ ապօրինի է եւ ընդհանրապես պետք է տեղի չունենա»: Ավետիք Չալաբյանի խոսքով՝ մենք պետք վերադառնանք նրան, որ մեր ներազգային խնդիրները կարողանանք լուծել եթե ոչ համերաշխությամբ, ապա գոնե իրար լսելով, բանավիճելով ու ոչ երբեք բռնությամբ. «Բռնությունը, մեղմ ասած, թույլերի գործն է, որոնք չունեն բարոյական ուժ, փաստարկ ու դիմում են բռնության: Իսկ մենք այստեղ ենք, որ թույլ չտանք բռնություն»:
Իսկ ինչու է պարոն Չալաբյանը համոզված, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հետ է կանգնել վեհարանը վեհափառ հայրապետից «ազատելու» մտադրությունից. «Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պաթոլոգիկ վախկոտ է, այն ամենն այս ընթացքում ինչ արել է, արել է միայն այն իրավիճակում, երբ իր հետևում զգացել է ժողովրդի ուժը, իսկ այսօր այդ ուժը իր հետեւում չէ: Բոլոր հարցումները ցույց են տալիս, որ քաղաքացիների 13-15 տոկոսն է իրեն պաշտպանում եւ այդ թիվը շարունակում է նվազել, որովհետեւ քայլ առ քայլ ձախողումներ է արձանագրում իր գործունեության բոլոր ոլորտներում, մասնավորապես՝ արտաքին քաղաքականությունում»:
