«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Աշխարհի ամենաթանկ ալկոհոլի վարկանիշն անընդհատ փոխվում է, քանի որ նման ըմպելիքներ արտադրողները ստեղծում են ավելի թանկ տարբերակներ՝ ըստ երևույթին հուսալով հայտնի դառնալ՝ հայտնվելով Գինեսի ռեկորդների գրքում:

Չնայած մինչ այս նյութի հրապարակումը գուցե մեկ ուրիշ ռեկորդակիր «հայտնվի», բայց ներկայում այդ հարցում առաջին տեղը պատկանում է անգլիացիներին, որոնք ստեղծել են անհասկանալի թանկարժեք վիսկի, որը կոչվում է Isabellas Islay։ Դրա մեկ շշի արժեքը կազմում է մոտ 6,2 մլն դոլար, չնայած արտադրվում է այս վիսկիի նաև «բյուջետային» տարբերակը՝ մոտ 750 հազար դոլար արժողությամբ։

Ինչո՞վ է պայմանավորված նման գինը, ինչի՞ց է պատրաստված այդ խմիչքը, և ինչ-որ մեկը պատրա՞ստ է այդքան գումար վճարել դա համտեսելու համար։ Իրականում այդ վիսկիի գինը հիմնականում պայմանավորված է շշի ինքնարժեքով։

Այս հրաշքի ստեղծողը՝ Luxury Beverage ընկերությունը, հայտնի է դարձել՝ մի քանի տարի առաջ թողարկելով Ruwa-ն՝ աշխարհի ամենաթանկ ոչ ալկոհոլային ըմպելիքը: Այդ բացառիկ արտադրանքի մեկ շիշն արժե մոտ 5,5 միլիոն դոլար: Հիմա էլ նրանք մշակել են Isabellas Islay-ը՝ բարձրորակ, լավ հնեցված վիսկի, որը պատրաստված է ավանդական տեխնոլոգիայով: Այսինքն, գնորդը համտեսի ժամանակ առանձնահատուկ հաճույք չի զգա՝ դա պարզապես բարձրորակ վիսկի է։ Բայց ի՜նչ տարա ունի։ Նախատեսված շշերը հասանելի են երկու տարբերակով, և յուրաքանչյուր շիշը կարող է փոքր-ինչ փոփոխվել հաճախորդի ցանկությամբ: Առաջին և ամենաթանկ տարբերակը Isabella Original-ն է։ Դրանք այն շշերն են, որոնք ներկայում վաճառվում են յուրաքանչյուրը 6,2 միլիոնով։ Դա բյուրեղապակյա շիշ է, որը զարդարված է ավելի քան 8 հազար սպիտակ ադամանդներով և մոտ 300 ռուբիններով՝ կնքված սպիտակ ոսկուց խցաններով։ Արդյունքում յուրաքանչյուր շիշ ձեռքով ստեղծված իսկական ոսկերչական արվեստի գործ է։ Երկրորդ՝ ավելի «դեմոկրատական» տարբերակը, Isabella Special Edition-ն է, որն արժե, ինչպես արդեն նշեցինք, «ընդամենը» 740 հազար դոլար։ Այդ շիշը պատրաստված է բյուրեղապակուց և սպիտակ ոսկուց, ունի ադամանդներ, որոնք օգտագործվում են տառերը զարդարելու համար: Ի դեպ, Isabellas Islay–ի շիշը կարելի է օգտագործել մեկից ավելի անգամ, ուստի կարելի է ասել, որ գնորդն ավելի շուտ օրիգինալ սպասք է գնում, քան բուն խմիչք։

Իսկ մինչ Isabellas Islay-ի շուկա դուրս գալը աշխարհի ամենաթանկ վիսկին 1906 թվականին Aisla T'Orten-ի կողմից ստեղծված ըմպելիքն էր: Այն արժեր 1,4 միլիոն դոլար և պահվում էր շոտլանդական մի ընտանիքում ավելի քան մեկ դար՝ մինչև 2010 թվականը, երբ վաճառվեց Master of Malt ընկերությանը: Այս դեպքում վիսկիի գինը պայմանավորված էր ոչ թե շշով, այլ պարունակությամբ:
