Թրամփը Truth Social սոցիալական ցանցում հերքել է այն լուրերը, թե «ոչնչացնելու» է իր նախկին դաշնակից միլիարդատեր Իլոն Մասկի ընկերությունները։
Նա նշել է, որ Մասկին բարգավաճում է մաղթում։
«Բոլորն ասում են, թե ես կոչնչացնեմ Իլոնի ընկերությունները՝ խլելով ԱՄՆ կառավարությունից ստացվող լայնածավալ սուբսիդիաների մի մասը, եթե ոչ բոլորը։ Դա սխալ է։ Ես ուզում եմ, որ Իլոնը և մեր երկրի բոլոր ձեռնարկությունները ԲԱՐԳԱՎԱՃԵՆ, իրականում՝ ԲԱՐԳԱՎԱՃԵՆ, ինչպես երբեք։ Որքան լավ են նրանք գործում, այնքան լավ են գործերը Միացյալ Նահանգների համար, և դա լավ է բոլորիս համար։ Մենք ամեն օր ռեկորդներ ենք սահմանում, և ես ուզում եմ, որ դա շարունակվի»,- գրել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։
The Wall Street Journal-ը ավելի վաղ հաղորդել էր, որ Մասկի հետ բարձր մակարդակի վեճի ֆոնին, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հունիսի սկզբին միլիարդատեր Իլոն Մասկի բիզնեսի հետ կապերը խզելու հնարավորության մասին բարձրաձայնելուց ընդամենը մի քանի օր անց նրա վարչակազմը սկսել է վերանայել SpaceX-ի և դաշնային կառավարության միջև կնքված պայմանագրերը։
Աղբյուրները հայտնել են, որ աուդիտի նպատակն էր բացահայտել ընկերության և կառավարության միջև կնքված բազմամիլիարդ դոլարանոց գործարքներում հնարավոր վնասները։
Սակայն վարչակազմի պաշտոնյաները որոշել են, որ չեն կարող հրաժարվել այդ պայմանագրերի մեծ մասից, քանի որ դրանք կարևոր էին Պաշտպանության նախարարության և NASA-ի համար։
