Թաիլանդի ռազմաօդային ուժերը ճշգրիտ կառավարվող հրթիռային հարված են հասցրել կամբոջական PHL-03 հեռահար բազմակի հրթիռային համակարգերին, որոնք արտադրվում են Չինաստանում և ունեն 130 կիլոմետր հեռահարություն, Բանգկոկում կայացած ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարել է Թաիլանդի պաշտպանության նախարարության գործողությունների վարչության անվտանգության համակարգման բյուրոյի տնօրեն, գեներալ-մայոր Վանչանա Սավայդին։
«Այսօր Թաիլանդի ռազմաօդային ուժերի չորս ինքնաթիռ՝ երկու F-16 և երկու Gripen ինքնաթիռներ, ճշգրիտ կառավարվող հրթիռային հարված են հասցրել Կամբոջայի հեռահար հրետանային դիրքերին և մինչև 130 կիլոմետր հեռահարության PHL-03 բազմակի հրթիռային համակարգերին», – լրագրողներին ասել է գեներալը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Թաիլանդն ուներ հետախուզական տվյալներ, այդ թվում՝ օդային լուսանկարչություն և տեսագրություններ, Կամբոջայի սահմանային գոտում «Թաիլանդի տարածքի խորքում գտնվող թիրախներին հարվածելու ունակ այս համակարգերի» տեղակայման մասին։
