Եվրահանձնաժողովը հավանություն է տվել Սլովակիայի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև միջուկային էներգետիկայի համաձայնագրի նախագծին

Սլովակիայի վարչապետ Ռոբերտ Ֆիցոն հայտնել է, որ Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովը հավանություն է տվել Սլովակիայի և ԱՄՆ-ի միջև միջկառավարական համաձայնագրի նախագծին՝ միջուկային էներգետիկայի ոլորտում համագործակցության վերաբերյալ, գրում է Tasr-ը։ Այս քայլը պարտադիր փուլ է երրորդ երկրի հետ դաշնակցային համաձայնագրի համար։
Ըստ Ֆիցոյի, նման համաձայնագիրը իրավական հիմք կստեղծի ամերիկյան Westinghouse ընկերության հետ պայմանագրի համար, որի համաձայն այն կկառուցի 1250 ՄՎտ հզորությամբ նոր ատոմային էներգաբլոկ «Bohunice» ԱԷԿ-ի հարթակում՝ Յասլովսկե-Բոհունիցե գյուղի մոտ։ Էներգաբլոկն ամբողջությամբ կլինի պետական սեփականություն։
Սլովակիան դեռ մայիսին հավանություն էր տվել այս ռեակտորի կառուցման ծրագրին, որի գործարկման նպատակային ժամկետը 2040 թվականն է։ Նախագծի ընդհանուր արժեքը գնահատվում է մոտ 10 միլիարդ եվրո։
Մինչև 2023 թվականը Սլովակիան ամբողջությամբ ծածկում էր ներքին էներգասպառումը ատոմային էլեկտրաէներգիայով։ Այժմ նրա ատոմակայաններում գործում է հինգ էներգաբլոկ, ևս մեկը գտնվում է կառուցման փուլում։ Slovenské Elektrárne ընկերությունը կառավարում է ԱԷԿ-ը և մասամբ պատկանում է պետությանը և չեխական EPH ընկերությանը։
