ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների նախկին պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը գրում է․ «Այսօր-վաղը որոշվող՝ մեր ու մեր երեխաների ապագային վերաբերող ճակատագրական հարցերը ՀՀ իշխանությունը գաղտնի է պահում ու բոլորիս գցել է տեղեկատվական քաոսի մեջ:
Իշխանական քարոզչությունն այս օրերին հետևողականորեն թաքցնում է, թե ինչ կոնկրետ լուծումներ են նախատեսվում, իսկ հարցեր բարձրացնողները թիրախավորվում են «հակառուս», «հակաամերիկյան» և այլ պիտակներով ու լռեցվում ագրեսիվ քարոզչությամբ:
Սրան գումարած՝ իշխանությունն անընդհատ փոփոխում է արտաքին օրակարգի կենսական հարցերի վերաբերյալ սեփական դիրքորոշումները, անընդհատ հռչակում է «կարմիր գծեր», որոշ ժամանակ անց ինքն էլ ոտնատակ է անում դրանք։
Տեղեկատվական անորոշության պայմաններում հայկական տիրույթը դարձյալ հեղեղվել է ադբրեջանական ինֆորմացիաներով, որոնցով տարվում է հետևողական, պլանավորված քարոզչություն ադրբեջանական զավթողական ծրագրերի ու շահերի տեսանկյունից: Առկա են նաև որոշ միջազգային հրապարակումներ:
ՀՀ իշխանությունը բանը հասցրել է նրան, որ չկան կոնկրետ քննարկումներ, թե որոնք են հայկական պետական շահերը. ամեն ինչ պտտվում է ադրբեջանական պահանջների շուրջ: Ստացվել է` բանակցությունները միայն ադրբեջանական պահանջների բավարարման մասին են: Ադրբեջանական շատ հարցեր զրոյից դարձել են օրակարգի թեմաներ։ Տպավորություն է` Ադրբեջանի հետ հակամարտությունը ոչ թե Արցախի, այլ Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածքի` Սյունիքի հետ է կապված:
Հայաստանի իշխանությունը պարտավոր է նախապես ու հետո էլ մեր ամբողջ ժողովրդին տալ մանրամասն հաշվետվություն մեր պետության, մեր բոլորի անվտանգության համար այս կենսական հարցերի վերաբերյալ, ինչպես հրարապարակներում բազմիցս պոպուլիստաբար խոստացել է, այլ ոչ թե վարպետորեն մոլորեցնի մեր հասարակությանը. միակ բանը, որ սովորել է այս տարիների ընթացքում»։
