ՌԴ Պետդումայի Կոմունիստական կուսակցության պատգամավորներ Վալերի Ռաշկինն ու Սերգեյ Օբուխովը դիմել են ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին եւ արտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովին՝ առաջարկելով խզել 1921թ. մարտի 16-ին ՌԽՖՍՀ իշխանությունների եւ Թուրքիայի միջեւ կնքված եղբայրության եւ բարեկամության մասին պայմանագիրը, հայտնում է «Իզվեստիա» պարբերականը։
«Թուրքական ագրեսիայի աճի պարագայում մենք այժմ պետք է իրավաբանորեն մշակենք մեր երկրի եւ նրա դաշնակիցների համար ոչ շահավետ բոլոր ռուս-թուրքական համաձայնությունները։ Անկարան պետք է հասկանա, թե ինչի կարող է վերածվել հակամարտության սրումը»,- ասել է Օբուխովը։
«Սպրավեդլիվայա Ռոսիա» կուսակցության պատգամավոր Օլեգ Պախոլկովի խոսքով՝ Թուրքիան իրոք շատ ծանր պայմաններ է առաջադրել, այդ թվում՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին վերաբերող կետ։ «Սակայն թուրքերին պետք է դաստիարակել։ Այս աշխարհում ոչինչ հավերժ չէ։ Եթե դուք այսօր դավաճան դիրքորոշում եք ընդունել, ուրեմն պայմանագիրը խզելը համարժեք քայլ է։ Այդ հարցում մեզ կաջակցի Հայաստանը»,- ասել է Պախոլկովը։
Ընդ որում, նա նշել է, որ եթե անգամ պայմանագրի խզումը մեծ իրավաբանական ուժ չունենա, դա կարտահայտի իրենց տարածքային հավակնություններն առ այն, ինչի հետ ռուսական կողմը համաձայն չէ։
Թուրքիայի հետ բարեկամության եւ եղբայրության պայմանագրի խզումը դիտարկվել էր եւ նախկինում։ Նացիզմի դեմ տարած հաղթանակից հետո ԽՍՀՄ-ը պահանջում էր Անկարայի հետ նոր համաձայնագիր կնքել, սակայն հրաժարվել էր այդ հավակնություններից Ստալինի մահվանից հետո։
«Երեք անդրկովկասյան հանրապետություններից երկուսը՝ Հայաստանն ու Վրաստանը, չեն ճանաչում պայմանագրի պայմանները։ Պետք է հասկանանք, որ 1921թ. բոլշեւիկների իշխանությունը մազից էր կախված»,- ասել է Օբուխովը։
Նշենք, որ այդ պայմանագրի համաձայն՝ Թուրքիային է անցել Կարսի մարզի մեծ մասը, նախկին Բաթումիի մարզի հարավային հատվածը, Երեւանի նահանգի Սուրմալուի գավառը՝ Արարատ լեռան հետ։
