Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը շնորհավորել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության վաստակավոր արտիստ, կինոռեժիսոր Ալեքսանդր Ադաբաշյանին 80-ամյակի կապակցությամբ՝ ընդգծելով նրա մասնագիտական հաջողությունները, արգասաբեր աշխատանքը և մեծ տաղանդը։

«Դուք նվիրվել եք կինոարվեստին, ճանաչում եք ձեռք բերել դերասանական և ռեժիսուրայի ոլորտներում և, անկասկած, Ձեր դիրքն ամրապնդել եք որպես ականավոր սցենարիստ։ Ձեր ստեղծագործական նախագծերը մշտապես  առանձնանում են գաղափարի ինքնատիպությամբ և իսկական վարպետի ճանաչելի ոճով։ Այս անկասկած մասնագիտական հաջողության հետևում կանգնած են տարիների ստեղծագործական աշխատանք, մեծ տաղանդ, հավատ ինքդ քեզ և քո ճակատագրի նկատմամբ», - ասվում է պետության ղեկավարի ուղերձում, որը հրապարակվել է Կրեմլի կայքում։

Պուտինը Ադաբաշյանին մաղթել է առողջություն և ամենայն բարիք։

Ադաբաշյանը ծնվել է 1945 թվականի օգոստոսի 10-ին։ Նա խաղացել է ավելի քան 50 ֆիլմերում և հեռուստասերիալներում։ Նրա դերերի թվում են՝ ծառայապետ Բերիմորը «Բասկերվիլների որսաշունը» ֆիլմում՝ Արթուր Կոնան Դոյլի ստեղծագործության հիման վրա նկարահանված «Շերլոկ Հոլմսի և դոկտոր Վաթսոնի արկածները» շարքից, Միխայիլ Բեռլիոզը՝ Միխայիլ Բուլգակովի «Վարպետը և Մարգարիտան» վեպի էկրանավորումում (2005, Վլադիմիր Բորտկո)։

Որպես ռեժիսոր՝ 1990 թվականին նկարահանել է «Մադո, մինչև անհրաժեշտ լինելը» մելոդրաման՝ հիմնված Սիմոնե Արեսի «Մադո» վեպի վրա, իսկ 2002 թվականին՝ «Ազազել» ֆիլմը։ Նա ՌՍՖՍՀ վաստակավոր արտիստ է (1983) և Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության վաստակավոր արտիստ (2016)։
