Չինական Labubu փափուկ հրեշները խելոք խաղալիքներից վերածվել են շքեղության պաշտամունքի, և այժմ դրանց ժողովրդականությունը գրավում է հանցագործների ուշադրությունը, գրում է Robb Report-ը։
Խաղալիքները, որոնք 2025 թվականին դարձան վիրուսային երևույթ, զարդարում են այնպիսի հայտնիների հավաքածուները, ինչպիսիք են Շերը, Ռիհաննան և Դեյվիդ Բեքհեմը: Սկզբնապես թողարկվելով 2018 թվականին, Լաբուբուն արագորեն նվաճեց աշխարհի երկրպագուների և հավաքորդների սրտերը: Հազվագյուտ օրինակները, հատկապես մեծ տարբերակները, հասնում են աստղաբաշխական գների. հունիսին Պեկինում կայացած պաշտոնական աճուրդում 170,000 դոլարով վաճառվեց 4 ոտնաչափ բարձրությամբ խաղալիքը։
Լաբուբուի ժողովրդականությունը հանգեցրել է սև շուկայի և վերավաճառքի բարձր գների: Խաղալիքները, որոնք մի ժամանակ վաճառվում էին փակ տուփերով մոտ 30 դոլարով, այժմ գնահատվում են հարյուրավոր և հազարավոր դոլարներով: Որոշ վաճառողներ ամեն ինչ վտանգում են հազվագյուտ նմուշների համար, ինչը հանգեցրել է մի շարք գողությունների Կալիֆոռնիայում։ Օգոստոսի 6-ին, ժամը 1:30-ի սահմաններում, Լոս Անջելեսում չորս տղամարդ ներխուժել են One Stop Sales խանութ, կոտրել ապակիները և գողացել Labubu-ի մի քանի տուփ, որոնց արժեքը, ըստ սեփականատերերի, տատանվում է 7000-ից մինչև 25000 դոլարի սահմաններում: Instagram-ում տեղադրվել է տեսախցիկների տեսանյութ, որտեղ երևում է, թե ինչպես են հանցագործները արագ փախչում դեպքի վայրից՝ գողացված խաղալիքներով։
Ընդամենը մեկ շաբաթ անց, Կալիֆոռնիայի Ափլենդ քաղաքում տեղի է ունեցել Labubu-ի մեկ այլ գողություն, որը, ըստ երևույթին, կատարվել է հանցագործների այլ խմբի կողմից: Չինո շրջանի ոստիկանությունը կարողացել է առգրավել խաղալիքների 14 տուփ, որոնց արժեքը մոտ 30000 դոլար էր, և որոնք նախատեսված էին ամբողջ երկրում վերավաճառքի համար: Գողացված բոլոր ապրանքները վերադարձվել են իրենց օրինական տերերին։
Labubu-ն հավաքորդական հոբբիից վերածվել է շքեղության իրի, և այժմ գրեթե կազմակերպված հանցագործության օբյեկտ է։
