ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը չորեքշաբթի Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգի կառավարիչ Լիզա Քուքին կոչ է արել հրաժարական տալ՝ սաստկացնելով կենտրոնական բանկի վրա ազդեցություն գործադրելու իր ջանքերը՝ հիմնվելով Քուքի Միչիգանում և Ջորջիայում ունեցած հիփոթեքային վարկերի վերաբերյալ դաշնակցի մեղադրանքների վրա, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։

Դաշնային բնակարանային ֆինանսավորման գործակալության տնօրեն Բիլ Փուլթը չորեքշաբթի ավելի վաղ X գրառման մեջ նշել էր, որ Քուքը Ատլանտայի բնակարանը որպես իր հիմնական բնակության վայր է ընտրել՝ Միչիգանում իր տան համար վարկ վերցնելուց հետո, որը նա նշել է նաև որպես իր հիմնական բնակության վայր։ Հիմնական տների վարկերի պայմանները կարող են ավելի դյուրին լինել, քան երկրորդական տների կամ ներդրումային անշարժ գույքի վարկերի պայմանները։

Փուլթը նշել է, որ վարկերը պետք է լրանային 2021 թվականի կեսին, նախքան նախկին նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը Քուքին Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգում առաջադրեր և հաջորդ տարի Սենատը հաստատեր նրան։ Նա ծնվել է Ջորջիայում և այդ ժամանակ Միչիգանի պետական համալսարանի տնտեսագիտության պրոֆեսոր էր։

Փուլթը գլխավոր դատախազ Փեմ Բոնդիին խնդրել է հետաքննություն սկսել։

Արդարադատության նախարարությունը շատ լուրջ է վերաբերվել այդ հարցին, Reuters-ին հայտնել է նախարարության խոսնակը։

«Քուքը պետք է անհապաղ հրաժարական տա»,- գրել է Թրամփը Truth Social-ում։

Քուքը Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգում նախկին նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի նշանակած երեք անձանցից մեկն է, և նրա ժամկետը լրանում է Թրամփի պաշտոնավարումից հետո, ինչը բարդացնում է նախագահի ջանքերը՝ յոթ անդամից բաղկացած խորհրդի մեծամասնություն նշանակելու միջոցով ավելի մեծ վերահսկողություն իրականացնելու համար։

Թրամփն այժմ նշանակել է Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգի մնացած վեց անդամներից երկուսին՝ նահանգապետ Քրիստոֆեր Ուոլլերին և վերահսկողության գծով փոխնախագահ Միշել Բոումանին։ Թրամփը բազմիցս քննադատել է Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգի նախագահ Ջերոմ Փաուելին՝ տոկոսադրույքները կտրուկ իջեցնելու ցանկության համար, կոչ է արել նրա հրաժարականը և ընդունել, որ ԱՄՆ կառավարությունում Դաշնային պահուստային համակարգի եզակի կարգավիճակը դրամավարկային քաղաքականության վեճերի պատճառով թույլ չի տալիս նրան ազատել խորհրդի անդամներին։
