Ֆեյսբուքյան օգտատեր Աբրահամ Աշղյանը սոցցանցերի իր էջում ահազանգել էր, որ օրեր առաջ Էրեբունի վարչական շրջանում տան բակից գողացել են իր մեքենան։ Նա նշել էր, որ դիմել է ոստիկանություն, սակայն ինքն է իր միջոցներով գտել իր արդեն վնասված մեքենան և հայտնաբերել մեքենան առևանգած անձին, որը հանդիսանում է Վրաստանի քաղաքացի։
Քննչական կոմիտեից NEWS.am-ի հարցմանն ի պատասխան հայտնեցին, որ դեպքի առթիվ կա նախաձեռնված քրեական վարույթ՝ Քրեական օրենսգրքի 254-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 3-րդ, 4-րդ կետերով (խոշոր չափերով գողությունը՝ տեխնիկական միջոցի, հատուկ հարմարեցված սարքավորման կամ այլ առարկայի կամ միջոցի գործադրմամբ կամ այլ եղանակով գույքի պաշտպանության կամ պահպանման համար նախատեսված սարքավորումը, համակարգը, կառույցը կամ այլ միջոցը ոչնչացնելով, վնասելով կամ շրջանցելով):
Իր գրառման մեջ Աբրահամ Աշղյանը նշել էր, որ քննիչը կարճել է գործը՝ հայտարարելով, որ գողության համար շահադիտական նպատակներ առկա չեն եղել։ Աշղյանը մտահոգություն էր հայտնել, որ նախքան իրավական գործընթացների մեկնարկը ենթադրյալը հանցագործը կարող է լքել երկիրը։
Քննչական կոմիտեից հայտնեցին, որ քրեական վարույթը գտնվում է նախաքննության փուլում։ Ենթադրյալ հանցագործություն կատարած անձը գտնվում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում։
