Իսրայելը մերժել է ԱՄՆ դեսպան Թոմ Բերաքի՝ լիբանանյան «Հեզբոլլահ» շարժման հետ մարտական գործողությունները դադարեցնելու առաջարկը՝ չնայած հարավային Լիբանանում նպատակային հարվածներն աստիճանաբար դադարեցնելու սկզբունքային համաձայնությանը, հայտնում է Al-Jadeed պարբերականը։

Հաղորդվում է, որ ռազմավարական հարցերով նախարար Ռոն Դերմերը Բարաքին ասել է, որ Իսրայելը կհամաձայնի աստիճանաբար դադարեցնել նպատակային սպանության փորձերն ու հարվածները և դուրս կգա հարավային Լիբանանի մի քանի առանցքային կետերից։

Ըստ հաղորդման, Իսրայելը պնդել է, որ սահմանի մի քանի գյուղեր մնան տարհանված և ծառայեն որպես բուֆերային գոտի։

Իսրայելը հայտարարել է, որ Լիբանանը կարող է այնտեղ գործարաններ և այլ արդյունաբերական գոտիներ կառուցել, սակայն ընդգծել է, որ քաղաքացիական բնակչությունը պետք է լքի այդ տարածքը։

Իր հերթին Maariv թերթը հայտնել է, որ դա փաստացի չեղյալ է դարձրել ամբողջ համաձայնագիրը, որն ուժի մեջ կմտներ միայն այն դեպքում, եթե երկու կողմերն էլ համաձայնեին դրա բոլոր պայմաններին։

Իսրայելցի զինվորականներն ակտիվորեն գործում են հարավային Լիբանանում 2024 թվականի նոյեմբերին հրադադարի մասին համաձայնագրի կնքումից ի վեր, իսկ հուլիսին Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը հայտարարել է, որ կշարունակի կանոնավոր հարձակումները «Հեզբոլլահի» վրա, քանի դեռ այն զինաթափված չէ, նույնիսկ եթե դա հանգեցնի նոր պատերազմի։
