Ղրղզստանի հարավում մեկ օրվա ընթացքում տեղի են ունեցել 4.8 և 4.9 մագնիտուդով երկու երկրաշարժ, երեքշաբթի օրը հաղորդել է հանրապետության Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի սեյսմոլոգիայի ինստիտուտը։
Ինստիտուտի տվյալներով՝ երեքշաբթի օրը՝ ժամը 16:31-ին (Մոսկվայի ժամանակով 13:31-ին), գրանցվել են 4.8 մագնիտուդով ցնցումներ։ Երկրաշարժի էպիկենտրոնը գտնվել է Ղրղզստանի Օշի շրջանում՝ Ժար-Բաշի գյուղից 6 կիլոմետր հարավ-արևմուտք, երկրի երկրորդ խոշորագույն քաղաք Օշից 134 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա
«Ղրղզստանի Հանրապետության բնակավայրերում երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը կազմել է. Ժար-Բաշի, Կարա-Շիբակ, Կուլչու գյուղերում՝ 5 բալ, Դարութ-Կորգոն, Չակ, Ջաշ-Տիլեկ, Կիզիլ-Էշմե, Շիբեե գյուղերում՝ 4 բալ, Քարամիկ, Կարա-Թեյիթ, Կաբիկ, Կաշկա-Սուու գյուղերում՝ 3 բալ», - ասվում է սեյսմոլոգների հայտարարության մեջ։
Նշվում է, որ մոտ մեկ օր առաջ նույն տարածքում գրանցվել է ևս մեկ երկրաշարժ՝ 4.9 մագնիտուդով։ Հանրապետության Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության նախնական տվյալների համաձայն՝ ցնցումների հետևանքով զոհեր կամ լուրջ ավերածություններ չեն գրանցվել։
