Թրամփի վարչակազմը խստացնելու է ուսանողների և լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչների վիզաների վավերականությունը

Թրամփի վարչակազմը մտադիր է խստացնել փոխանակման ծրագրերի ուսանողների և լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչների վիզաների վավերականությունը՝ ըստ չորեքշաբթի հրապարակված առաջարկվող կառավարական հրամանագրի՝ օրինական ներգաղթի դեմ պայքարի ավելի լայնածավալ միջոցառումների շրջանակում, հայտնում է Reuters-ը:
Թրամփը լայնածավալ ներգաղթային պայքար սկսեց հունվարին պաշտոնը ստանձնելուց հետո:
Վերջին քայլը նոր խոչընդոտներ կստեղծի արտասահմանյան ուսանողների, փոխանակման ծրագրերի աշխատողների և օտարերկրյա լրագրողների համար, որոնք ստիպված կլինեն դիմել Միացյալ Նահանգներում իրենց մնալու ժամկետը երկարաձգելու համար, այլ ոչ թե՝ պահպանելու ավելի ճկուն իրավական կարգավիճակ։
Առաջարկվող հրամանագիրը կսահմանի միջազգային ուսանողների համար F վիզաների, փոխանակման ծրագրերի այցելուներին Միացյալ Նահանգներում աշխատելու թույլտվությամբ J վիզաների և լրատվամիջոցների աշխատողների համար I վիզաների վավերականության ֆիքսված ժամկետ։
Այս վիզաները ներկայում տրամադրվում են Միացյալ Նահանգներում ծրագրի կամ աշխատանքի տևողության համար։ ԱՄՆ կառավարության տվյալներով՝ 2024 թվականին Միացյալ Նահանգներում F վիզաներով մոտ 1.6 միլիոն միջազգային ուսանող կար։ 2024 թվականի ֆինանսական տարում, որը սկսվեց 2023 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 1-ին, ԱՄՆ-ն վիզաներ է տրամադրել փոխանակման ծրագրի մոտ 355.000 այցելուների և լրատվամիջոցների 13.000 ներկայացուցիչների: Թրամփի վարչակազմն առաջարկվող կարգավորման մեջ նշել է, որ փոփոխությունն անհրաժեշտ է՝ վիզա ունեցողներին ԱՄՆ-ում գտնվելու ընթացքում ավելի լավ «մոնիթորինգի և վերահսկողության» համար: Հանրությունը 30 օր կունենա մեկնաբանելու համար այդ միջոցառումը, որն արտացոլում է 2020 թվականին Թրամփի առաջին ժամկետի ավարտին ներկայացված առաջարկը:
NAFSA-ն ոչ առևտրային կազմակերպությունը, որը միջազգային մանկավարժների շահերը ներկայացնում է աշխարհի ավելի քան 4300 հաստատություններում, դեմ է արտահայտվել 2020 թվականի առաջարկին և Թրամփի վարչակազմին կոչ է արել հրաժարվելեւ դրանից: Նախկին նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի դեմոկրատական վարչակազմը 2021 թվականին այն հետ էր կանչել:
