Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի մակրոէկոնոմիկայի և հիմնական ուղղությունների կոլեգիայի անդամ Տատյանա Վալովայան դրական է գնահատում ԵՏՀ նախագահի պաշտոնում Տիգրան Սարգսյանի նշանակումը: Փետրվարի 8-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը Տատյանա Վալովայան նկատեց, որ նախքան ԵՏՀ նախագահի պարտականությունները ստանձնելը Տիգրան Սարգսյանը ղեկավարել է Հայաստանի կառավարությունը ու շատ լավ ծանոթ է ԵԱՏՄ ինտեգրացիոն գործընթացներին: «Տիգան Սարգսյանն անմիջականորեն մասնակցել է Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանը Հայաստանի անդամակցության բանակցություններին և շատ հրաշալի է, որ նա հիմա մեր հանձնաժողովի նախագահն է: Մենք շատ ուրախ ենք, որ նման որոշում է կայացվել»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Վալովայան:

Վալովայան մանրամասնեց, որ 2015թ. դեկտեմբերին արդեն ձևավորվել է Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովի նոր կազմը, նշանակվել են նոր նախարարներ: Նա հավելեց նաև, որ ԵԱՏՄ անդամ երկրներից յուրաքանչյուրը Եվրասիական տնտեսական հանձնաժողովում ունի երկու նախարար: «Նախկինում Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության մասին պայմանագրում ամրագրված էր, որ յուրաքանչյուր երկիր պետք է ունենա հավասար թվով նախարարներ: Այն ժամանակ, երբ մեր միությանն անդամակցում էր ընդամենը երեք երկիր, յուրաքանչյուրն ուներ երեք նախարար: Սակայն հիմա, երբ միության անդամ երկրները 5-ն են, ենք որոշել ենք, որ յուրաքանչյուրը կունենա 2-ական նախարար: Այսինքն, եթե նախկինում նախարարների թիվը 9-ն էր, հիմա մենք որոշում ենք կայացրել, որ նրանց թիվը կլինի 10-ը: Կարծում ենք, որ սա ևս կառուցողկան մոտեցում է ու հնարավորություն է տալիս լուծել մեր առջև դրված խնդիրները»,- եզրափակեց Վալովայան:
