Փաստեր կան, որոնց թեեւ դժվար է հավատալը, բայց իրականում ճշմարիտ են։ Ահա դրանցից մի քանիսը։

Չիկագոյում կառուցվել է հյուրանոց՝ մահացու թակարդներով Սերիական մարդասպան Հենրի Հոլմսը 1893 թվականին Չիկագոյում հյուրանոց է կառուցել բազմաթիվ մահացու թակարդներով։ Եվ երբ հյուրանոցը պատրաստ էր, նա անցել է իր հանցագործություններին։ Նա իր թակարդների միջոցով տանջամահ էր անում հյուրանոցի աշխատակիցներին ու այցելուներին։ Հայտնի է, որ նա սպանել է հարյուրից ավելի մարդկանց։

Ավստրալիայում մի ամբողջ քաղաքի բնակիչներ գետնի տակ են ապրում Գրեթե 1 700 հոգի ապրում է գետնի տակ գտնվող տարածքներում։ Այստեղ կան բնակելի տներ, սրճարաններ, եկեղեցի եւ գերեզմանատուն։ Մարդիկ հազվադեպ են դուրս գալիս, քանի որ այստեղ հողը շատ չոր է, ջերմաստիճանն էլ 40 աստիճան շոգ է։ Քաղաքի անվանու Կուբեր-Պեդի է։
