ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը որոշել է չեղարկել ավելի վաղ Կոնգրեսում հաստատած գրեթե 5 միլիարդ դոլարի արտաքին օգնության փաթեթը, գրում է The New York Post -ը։ Գումարը ներառում է USAID ծրագրի, խաղաղապահ գործողությունների և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների համար կատարվող ներդրումների ծախսերը։

Միջոցների մի մասը՝ մոտ 838 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար, նախատեսված էր ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահ առաքելությունների համար, ներառյալ՝ Կոնգոյի Դեմոկրատական ​​Հանրապետությունում և Կենտրոնական Աֆրիկյան Հանրապետությունում։ Վերադարձը չի տարածվի Եգիպտոսի և Իսրայելի սահմանին տեղայակված բազմազգ ուժերի և դիտորդների առաքելության վրա։
