The New York Times -ի տվյալներով՝ Իսրայելի հարվածներից հետո անցկացված հետաքննության արդյունքում բացահայտվել են արտահոսքեր Իրանի անվտանգության համակարգում։
Հունիսի 16-ին՝ պատերազմի չորրորդ օրը, Թեհրանի տակ գտնվող բունկերում տեղի է ունեցել Իրանի Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի գերգաղտնի նիստ։ Չնայած խիստ միջոցառումներին՝ ղեկավարության մոտ հեռախոսների բացակայությանը և բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների՝ այդ թվում նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանի՝ առանձին ժամանմանը, իսրայելական ինքնաթիռները շուտով հարվածել են բունկերի մուտքերին։ Նիստի մասնակիցները չեն տուժել, սակայն մի քանի պահապաններ սպանվել են։
Պարզվել է, որ իսրայելական հետախուզությունը հետևել է հանդիպմանը՝ կոտրելով թիկնապահների և վարորդների հեռախոսները։
Իրանական և իսրայելական աղբյուրների համաձայն, «մի քանի տարվա ընթացքում բջջային սարքերի անզգույշ օգտագործումը՝ ներառյալ սոցիալական ցանցերում հրապարակումները, թույլ են տվել Թել Ավիվին ճշգրտորեն հետևել ռազմական հրամանատարների և միջուկային գիտնականների տեղաշարժերին»։
«Կարմիր հարսանիք» գործողության շրջանակում Իսրայելը 2022 թվականի վերջից սկսել է իրանական առանցքային մասնագետների ոչնչացման նախապատրաստումը։ Ցանկերը կազմվել են 2018 թվականին «Մոսադ»-ի կողմից գողացված արխիվի հիման վրա՝ 400 անունից կրճատվելով մինչև 100-ի։ Հունիսին Իսրայելը սպանել է 13 միջուկային գիտնական և մի շարք բարձրաստիճան զինվորականներ։ Պատերազմի առաջին շաբաթվա ընթացքում նախատեսված է եղել 20–25 թիրախային հարված։
Նախկին պաշտոնյաների վկայությամբ, անվտանգության համակարգեր ներթափանցման մակարդակը եղել է աննախադեպ։
Իսրայելի զինվորականները հայտարարում են, որ «գործակալական աշխատանքի, արբանյակային հետախուզության և թվային տվյալների վերլուծության համադրությունը Իրանի ղեկավարների բազմամարդ անվտանգության համակարգը վերածել է նրանց խոցելիության»։
