ՆԳՆ-ից հայտնում են․
«Օգոստոսի 31-ին` ժամը 14։45-ին, Ոստիկանության օպերատիվ կառավարման կենտրոն զանգահարած մի տղամարդ հայտնել է, որ Առնո Բաբաջանյան փողոցում կրակել են մի տղայի, որին տեղափոխել են հիվանդանոց, և իր մոտ կան կրակված պարկուճներ։
Քիչ անց «Աստղիկ» բժշկական կենտրոնից հայտնել են, որ «կրծքավանդակի հրազենային վնասվածք» ախտորոշմամբ շտապօգնության խումբը տեղափոխել է մոտ 30 տարեկան տղամարդու, որը ժամը 15։35-ին մահացել է։
Մեկնել են Քրեական ոստիկանության գլխավոր և Երևան քաղաքի վարչությունների ու Համայնքային ոստիկանության Մալաթիայի բաժնի ղեկավարներ ու ծառայողներ։
Նույն օրը Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի քննչական բաժնում սպանության և ապօրինի զենք պահելու հատկանիշներով նախաձեռնվեց քրեական վարույթ:
Իրավապահների համատեղ օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվեց, որ Սպիտակ քաղաքում հաշվառված 29-ամյա մի երիտասարդ, արտերկրում բնակվող իր եղբոր հետ կապված պարզաբանումներ կատարելու նպատակով, զանգահարել, պայմանավորվել ու այգում հանդիպել է Առնո Բաբաջանյան փողոցի բնակիչ 40-ամյա տղամարդուն:
Պարզաբանումը հարթ չի անցել, և 29-ամյա երիտասարդը մեքենայից հանել է իր անվամբ հաշվառված որսորդական ողորկափող հրացանը, անկանոն կրակոցներ արձակել 40-ամյա տղամարդու ուղղությամբ և դիմել փախուստի։
Հետագա միջոցառումների արդյունքում 29-ամյա երիտասարդը ներկայացել է Համայնքային ոստիկանության Գավառի բաժին, որտեղից էլ տեղափոխվել Երևան քաղաքի վարչություն: Նա նաև ներկայացրել է հանցագործության գործիք հրացանը»։
