Գիտելիքի և դպրության օրն իր դռները բացեց Կապանի թիվ 2 նախադպրոցական ուսումնական հաստատությունը՝ այս անգամ հիմնանորոգված և կահավորված:

Կրթօջախի մասնաշենքը շահագործման էր հանձնվել հեռավոր 1980 թվականին և երբևէ չէր հիմնանորոգվել: Մանկապարտեզում գործում էր հինգ խումբ՝ 140 երեխայով: Այժմ պայմաններ են ստեղծված վեց խմբի՝ 160 երեխայի նախադպրոցական կրթության կազմակերպման հնարավորությամբ:

Օրը կրկնակի տոնական էր մանկապարտեզի մանկավարժների և սաների համար: Նրանց շնորհավորելու էին եկել Կապան համայնքի ղեկավար Գևորգ Փարսյանը, համայնքապետարանի աշխատակազմի և ավագանու անդամներ, հիմնանորոգումն իրականացրած կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, թաղամասի բնակիչներ: Բարեմաղթանքի խոսքերից հետո (համայնքի ղեկավար Գևորգ Փարսյան, մանկապարտեզի տնօրեն Սվետա Ավետիսյան, երկարամյա մանկավարժ Արմիդա Մելքոմյան, ծնող Հասմիկ Գևորգյան) հանդիսության մասնակիցները շրջեցին հարկաբաժիններով, ծանոթացան պայմաններին:

Հիմնանորոգումն իրականացվել է սուբվենցիոն՝ համայնք-կառավարություն համաֆինանսավորմամբ, ծրագրի արժեքը շուրջ 461 մլն ՀՀ դրամ է, որից կառավարության չափը մոտ 369 մլն ՀՀ դրամ է, իսկ համայնքի համաֆինանսավորման չափը՝ 92 մլն ՀՀ դրամ:

Մանկապարտեզի գույքի ձեռքբերումն իրականացվել է ՀՀ կառավարության և Զանգեզուրի պղնձամոլիբդենային կոմբինատի բարեգործական հիմնադրամի աջակցությամբ:

Թիվ 2 նախադպրոցական ուսումնական հաստատությունը յոթերորդ հիմնանորոգված մանկապարտեզն է մարզկենտրոնում:
