Գազայի հատվածում Հորդանանի օդից մարդասիրական օգնության մատակարարումը դադարեցվել է, ըստ Ֆրանսպրես գործակալության՝ չորեքշաբթի հայտարարել է կառավարությանն առնչվող բարեգործական կազմակերպության խոսնակը՝ առանց փոփոխության պատճառը նշելու։

Հուլիսի վերջից ի վեր մի քանի տարբեր երկրներ միացել են Հորդանանի զինվորականների համակարգած գործողություններին՝ պարաշյուտային օգնություն ուղարկելու Գազա, որտեղ ՄԱԿ-ը գրեթե երկու տարի տևած պատերազմից հետո հայտարարել է սովի մասին։

Օդից նետված մարդասիրական օգնությունը, որն, ըստ օգնության գործակալությունների, անբավարար է եղել և չի կարող փոխարինել ցամաքային մուտքը, իրականացվել են Իսրայելի համաձայնությամբ։ Մարդասիրական օգնության վերջին նետումը տեղի է ունեցել օգոստոսի 26-ին։ Հորդանանի Հաշիմյան բարեգործական կազմակերպության ղեկավար Հուսեյն ալ-Շեբլին Ֆրանսպրես գործակալությանն ասել է, որ օդային մատակարարումները դադարեցվել են «վերջին օրերին»՝ առանց մանրամասները նշելու։

Հորդանանի կառավարության աղբյուրը, անանունության պայմանով, Ֆրանսպրես գործակալությանը հայտնել է, որ փոփոխության հետևում կանգնած են «իսրայելական խոչընդոտները»։

Աղբյուրը նշել է, որ Հորդանանը պատրաստ է վերսկսել օդային մատակարարումների, «եթե Իսրայելի խոչընդոտները վերացվեն»։ Իսրայելի հանրային հեռարձակող Kan-ը կիրակի օրը հայտնել է, որ օդային մատակարարումները դադարեցվել են «մինչև հետագա ծանուցում»։

Իսրայելի հեռարձակողը հայտնել է, որ Եգիպտոսն ու Հորդանանը, որոնք գլխավորում էին օգնության ջանքերը, որոշել են դադարեցնել դրանք «իրենց սեփական պատճառներով», հավելելով, որ Գազա օգնություն պարաշյուտով ուղարկելու համար ոչ մի երկիր նոր հայտ չի ներկայացրել։

Իր հերթին Շեբլին նշել է, որ «աշխատանքներ են տարվում» Գազա անհրաժեշտ օգնությունը հասցնելու այլ եղանակներ գտնելու ուղղությամբ։

Հորդանանի զինվորականների տվյալներով՝ հուլիսի 27-ից ի վեր Գազայի վրա օդից 400 տոննա օգնություն է նետվել։ ՄԱԿ-ի գործակալություններն ու օգնության խմբերը բազմիցս կոչ են արել Իսրայելին թույլատրել ցամաքային ճանապարհով ավելի շատ օգնություն հասցնել Գազա, մինչդեռ Իսրայելը սննդի պակասը բացատրում է տեղերում մատակարարումների անարդյունավետ կառավարմամբ և թալանի ենթարկմամբ։

Վայրէջքների դադարեցումը համընկել է Իսրայելի ռազմական հարձակման ուժգնացման հետ՝ Պաղեստինի տարածքի խոշորագույն քաղաքային կենտրոնի՝ Գազա քաղաքի շուրջ։
