Սուրբ Վալենտինի օրվա ավանդույթները

Shabat.am-ը գրում է.
Ամեն տարի փետրվարի 14-ին սիրահարներն ուղղակի խենթանում են: Նրանք տոննաներով ծաղիկներ են գնում, փափուկ խաղալիքներ, տարբեր քաղցրավենիքներ և միլիոնավոր շնորհավորանքներ: Ի՞նչ ավանդույթներ ունի Սուրբ Վալենտինի օրը և ի՞նչ խորհրդանիշի հետ է այն կապված:
Սուրբ Վալենտինի օրը, որպես կանոն, սկսվում է բարձի վրա դրված կարմիր վարդից: Հենց այս ծաղիկն է հնուց համարվում հիացմունքի և երկրպագության խորհրդանիշ: Կարմիր վարդ կարող են իրենց սիրելիին նվիրել ինչպես տղամարդիկ, այլպես էլ կանայք: Եթե Դուք չեք ապրում իրար հետ, ապա կարող եք հիասքանչ մի փունջ թողնել Ձեր սիրելիի դռան տակ, կամ մեքենայի վրա, կամ աշխատանքից հետո նվիրել սիրելիին:
Կարմիր վարդի հետ պետք է լինի վալենտինկա՝ սիրո խոստովանությամբ բացիկ: Հիմնականում այն արված է կարմիր սրտի ձևով, որը համարվում է մաքրության, հավատարմության և ուժեղ սիրո խորհրդանիշ: Հատկապես արժեքավոր են ձեռագործ սրտիկները, որոնք կարող են շատ հասարակ տեսք ունենալ, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ շատ ավելի նշանակալից լինեն: Այն կարելի է դնել ծաղկեփնջի մեջ, ուղարկել փոստով կամ որևէ այլ կերպ, սակայն կարևոր չէ՝ ինչպես, ամենակարևորը նրա միջոցով սիրելիին հասցնել սրտից բխող խոսքերը: Հայտնի է, որ ամենահին վալենտինկան հայտնաբերվել էր անգլիական գրադարանում, որը գրված էր եղել 1477թ.-ին: Նրանում աղջիկը սիրելի տղային խնդրում էր բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով ապացուցել նրան իր սերը, իսկ ինքն իր հերթին կաներ ամեն ինչ՝ ընտանիքից օրհնություն ստանալու համար:
Փափուկ խաղալիքը ևս մեկ տարբերակ է, որի միջոցով կարելի է սեր խոստովանել: Նրանք հատկապես օգնում են ոչ այդքան համարձակ մարդկանց սեր խոստովանել և հուշել, որ զգացմունքներն ավելի են, քան միայն ընկերականը:
