ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարության վերանվանումը Պատերազմի նախարարության կարող է միլիարդավոր դոլարներ արժենալ Վաշինգտոնի համար։ 

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս հանգամանքին ուշադրություն է հրավիրել Politico թերթը։

Լրատվամիջոցը նշում է, որ այդ գումարի առյուծի բաժինը կարող է ուղղվել 40 երկրներում և ԱՄՆ բոլոր 50 նահանգներում Պենտագոնի ավելի քան 700 հազար օբյեկտների վրա այս գերատեսչության տարբերանշանների փոփոխմանը։ Սա ենթադրում է 6 զորատեսակների և Պենտագոնին ենթակա գործակալությունների ֆիրմային ձևաթղթերի, ճաշարաններում դրոշմված անձեռոցիկների, Սենատի հաստատված պաշտոնյաների բաճկոնների վրա տարբերանշանների, ինչպես նաև խանութներում հուշանվերների փոխարինում։ 

Ըստ Politico-ի տեղեկությունների՝ սեպտեմբերի 5-ին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ստորագրած հրամանագիրը հիասթափություն, զայրույթ և տարակուսանք է առաջացրել Պենտագոնի շատ աշխատակիցների շրջանում։ Նրանք գտնում են, որ այս որոշման իրականացումը կարող է միլիարդավոր դոլարների ծախս պահանջել կոսմետիկ փոփոխությունների համար, որոնք գործնականում չեն նպաստի ռազմական առավել հրատապ  խնդիրների լուծմանը։

Հաղորդվում է, որ Պենտագոնի պաշտոնական անվանափոխության համար, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կպահանջվի համապատասխան օրենքի ընդունում Կոնգրեսում։
