«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

«Ամուսնացել ենք 2006 թվականին։ Այնքան արագ ամեն ինչ տեղի ունեցավ՝ նշանվեցինք, ամուսնացանք, հետո մեր ընտանիքում մեր երեք երեխաները՝ երկու աղջիկները և տղան ծնվեցին»,-«Փաստի» հետ զրույցում ասում է Վանուհին՝ Սահակի կինը։ Ամուսնու մասին խոսելիս նշում է՝ Սահակն ամեն հարցում բոլորին նվիրված էր։ «Ընտանիքի նվիրված հայր ու ամուսին էր։ Իր տեսակով կենսուրախ մարդ էր։ Որքան լավ հատկանիշներ կան, ես դրանցով կարող եմ նկարագրել իրեն։ Հիմա այնքան բարդ է իր մասին անցյալով խոսելը»։ Վանուհու խոսքով, ամուսնու սիրելի զբաղմունքներից մեկը որսորդությունն էր։ Սահակը զբաղվել է բռնցքամարտով և կարատեով։ Մասնակցել է բազմաթիվ մրցույթների, գրանցել հաղթանակներ։

Սահակը ծնունդով Վայոց ձորի մարզի Մալիշկա գյուղից է։ 1991-2001 թթ. սովորել է Մալիշկայի թիվ 1 հիմնական դպրոցում: Դպրոցն ավարտելուց հետո հաճախել է համակարգչային օպերատորի դասընթացների։ Իսկ 2002 թվականին զորակոչվել է բանակ՝ պարտադիր ժամկետային զինվորական ծառայության։ Ծառայել է Խոջալուի տանկային զորամասում։ Ծառայության ընթացքում պաշտպանության նախարարության կողմից արժանացել է պատվոգրերի:

2006 թվականից Սահակն անցել է պայմանագրային զինվորական ծառայության Վայքի զորամասում։ Ծառայության ժամանակ Ջրվեժում մասնակցել է 6-ամսյա դասընթացների, ստացել ենթասպայի կոչում: 2009 թվականին, պայմանագիրը լրանալուն պես, դուրս է եկել պայմանագրային ծառայությունից։

2011 թվականին ընտանիքը որոշում է կայացնում տեղափոխվել Արցախ։ Բնակություն են հաստատում Քաշաթաղի շրջանի Վան գյուղում։ «Մեր երեխաներից ամենափոքրն Արցախում է ծնվել։ Ես մասնագիտությամբ բուժքույր եմ, մեր գյուղում բուժքույր էի աշխատում։ Հողագործությամբ և անասնապահությամբ էինք զբաղվում, ապրում մեր առօրյա կյանքով»։

2020 թվականին Սահակը որոշում է կրկին անցնել պայմանագրային ծառայության, այս անգամ արդեն՝ Իշխանաձորում։ Նա ծառայում էր արագ արձագանքման ջոկում՝ որպես դիպուկահարների ջոկի հրամանատար։

Սեպտեմբերի 27-ին սկսվեց պատերազմը։ «Հայտարարված տագնապով նա նախ հասավ Իշխանաձոր, այնտեղից էլ բարձրացան դիրքեր։ Որտեղ վտանգ է եղել, նա իր ջոկատով հասել է օգնության։ Իր հետ կապն ամենօրյա չէր, երկուերեք օրը մեկ կարող էինք զրուցել, այն էլ՝ հինգ րոպեով։ Հիմնականում անհասանելի էր լինում»։

Սահակը զոհվել է դիպուկահարի կրակոցից հոկտեմբերի 25-ին՝ վիրավոր ընկերոջը խրամատից դուրս բերելիս: Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել Որոտան (Կուբաթլու)-Խնձորեսկ հատվածում։ «Իր հրամանատարը թույլ չի տվել մարմինը թողնել մարտի դաշտում։ Այդ ժամանակ թեժ մարտեր են եղել, մի քիչ սպասել են, հանդարտվել է ամեն ինչ, երեկոյան մարմինը դուրս են բերել»։

Ապրելու ուժի մասին։ «Սա շատ դժվար հարց է։ Պատերազմից հետո շատ բարդ կյանք ու ծանր օրեր ենք ունեցել։ Երբ Քաշաթաղի շրջանից բոլորը դուրս եկան, մենք տեղափոխվեցինք Հայաստան։ Սկզբում բնակվել ենք Մալիշկայում, հետո՝ Եղեգնաձորում, հիմա էլ Երևանում ենք վարձով բնակվում։ Որդիս իններորդ դասարանն ավարտեց, և տեղափոխվեցինք Երևան։ Այստեղ քոլեջում է սովորում։ Հիմա երեխաներս են իմ ապրելու ուժը, մեկս մյուսիս համար փորձում ենք ամուր թիկունք լինել»։
