ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարի տեղակալ Դանիել Դանիելյանն ընդունել է ԱՄՆ-ում «Վիլյամ Սարոյան» հիմնադրամի տնօրեն Սքոթ Սեդրակյանին:

«Վիլյամ Սարոյան» հիմնադրամի հետ համագործակցությամբ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության Գրքի երևանյան 8-րդ միջազգային փառատոնի շրջանակում սահմանվել էր Վիլյամ Սարոյանի անվան կարճ արձակի անվանակարգ, որի հաղթողը նվեր է ստացել Վիլյամ Սարոյանի բնօրինակ գունանկարներից մեկը: Հիմնադրամը և Ե. Չարենցի անվան գրականության և արվեստի թանգարանը ևս իրականացրել են «Սարոյանական գույներ․ բառերից անդին» միջազգային ցուցադրությունը, որը ներկայացնում է Սարոյանի 100-ից ավելի նկարչական աշխատանքները:

Ողջունելով հիմնադրամի նախագահ Սքոթ Սեդրակյանին՝ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարի տեղակալ Դանիել Դանիելյանը կարևորել է համատեղ ջանքերը մեծանուն հայի՝ Վիլյամ Սարոյանի ժառանգությունը պահպանելու, տարածելու և հանրահռչակելու ուղղությամբ:

«Վիլյամ Սարոյան արվեստագետն իր անցած ճանապարհով, թողած հետքով ու ժառանգությամբ ուղենշային դեր ունի մերօրյա երիտասարդների համար: Նա իր կերպարով ապացուցում է, որ ամեն ինչ հնարավոր է իրագործել՝ հավատալով երազանքին: Մեր խնդիրն է՝ նրան ըստ պատշաճի հանրահռչակելով՝ ոգևորել երիտասարդներին և բացահայտել նոր տաղանդներ, խթանել գրահրատարակչական ոլորտը»,- ասել է Դանիել Դանիելյանը:

«Վիլյամ Սարոյան» հիմնադրամի տնօրեն Սքոթ Սեդրակյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության համար և նշել, որ տպավորված է Գրքի երևանյան փառատոնի և ԳԱԹ-ում բացված ցուցադրության շրջանակում թիմային համագործակցությամբ, ինչը մատնանշում է արվեստի միասնական տեսլականը:

Անդրադառնալով Գրքի միջազգային փառատոնին՝ Դանիել Դանիելյանն ընդգծել է, որ տարեցտարի այն իր մասշտաբներն ընդլայնում է ոչ միայն միջազգային հարթակներում՝ ընդգրկելով նոր գործընկերների, այլև ՀՀ մարզերում՝ մշակույթի ապակենտրոնացման քաղաքականության շրջանակում: Նշենք, որ այս տարի փառատոնը սեպտեմբերի 28-ին կանցկացվի Շիրակի մարզում, իսկ հեկտեմբերի 4-ին՝ Սյունիքի մարզում:
