Օրեր առաջ «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման անդամները մեկնել Էին Ալավերդի քաղաք և այցելել Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմում զոհված հերոս Գևորգ Կիրակոսյանի շիրիմին:
 
Գևորգ Դավիթի Կիրակոսյանը (Կոմանդոս) ծնվել է 1996 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 22-ին Ալավերդի քաղաքում: Սովորել և գերազանցությամբ ավարտել է դպրոցը, այնուհետև Ալավերդու պետական արհեստագործական ուսումնարանը:
 
2014-2018 թթ սովորել և ավարտել է ՌԴ Հարավային Դաշտային համալսարանի իրավաբանական ֆակուլտետը։ 2018թ․ ընդունվում է ՀՀ Պաշտպանության նախարարության Վ․Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական ակադեմիա և մեկ տարի անց նրան շնորհվում է «լեյտենանտ» զինվորական կոչում։
 
2018 թ․ ավարտելով ՌԴ ՀԴՀ իրավաբանական ֆակուլտետը, Գեվորգը պետք է անցներ ծառայության Ղրիմում տեղակայված հրթիռահրետանային զորքերում։ Սակայն, նա որոշում է ծառայության անցնել իր հայրենիքում՝ Հայաստանում։ Վ․Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական ակադեմիայում սովորելու տարիներին պարգևատրվել է պատվոգրերով։ Անցնելով ծառայության Մատաղիսի զորամասում, նշանակվում է դասակի հրամանատար և ստանձնում 118-րդ մարտական հենակետի հրամանատարությունը։
 
Երբ սկսվեց Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը, Գեվորգը գտնվում էր հերթական արձակուրդում։ Սեփական նախաձեռնությամբ ընդատելով արձակուրդը նա մեկնում է Արցախ։
 
Սեպտեմբերի 28-ին ժամանելով Մատաղիս, նա տեսնում է, որ զորամասն արդեն ամբողջությամբ ռմբակոծվել է հակառակորդի կողմից։ Նա ներկայանում է 3-րդ գումարտակի հրամանատրին, ստանում զենք իր և կամավորականների համար, և ստանձնելով այդ ստորաբաժանման հրամանատարությունը՝ բարձրանում մարտական դիրքեր։ Հոկտեմվերի 5-ին նա իր վրա է վերցնում նոր մարտական դիրքի հրամանատրությունը։ Նույն երեկոյան նրանք ստանում են հրաման անցնել պաշտպանության Մարտակերտից դեպի Մատաղիսի ձորակ ուղղությամբ։
 
Գևորգը միշտ ձգտում էր պահպանել իր ենթակաների մարտական ոգին, չէր հուսահատվում և երբեք չէր լքում զինվորներին։ Բոլոր դժվարին իրավիճակներում, անտեսելով մահը, նա կարողանում էր զինվորներին ժամանակին մատակարարել զենք, զինամթերք, հաց և ջուր։
 
Հոկտեմբերի 8-ին ընթանում էին թեժ մարտեր, չկար նահանջի հրաման։ Հոկտեմբերի 9-ին կեսօրին վերսկսվեցին կատաղի մարտերը։ Գեվորգն իր սաղավարտը տալիս է 18-ամյա զինվորին, չմտածելով սեփական կյանքի մասին։ Մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ փորձել է իրենից հեռու խրամատից, որը գտնվում էր հակառակորդի ինտենսիվ կրակի ազդեցության տակ, դուրս բերել մարտական ընկերոջը, սակայն այդ պահին հակառակորդի արձակած արկից գլխի շրջանում ստանում է մահացու բեկորային վիրավորում։
