Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Մեհդի Սոբհանիին, ով ավարտում է իր դիվանագիտական առաքելությունը։
Նախագահը ողջունել է դեսպանին և շնորհակալություն հայտնել պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ցուցաբերած հետևողական ջանքերի համար, որոնք նպաստել են Հայաստանի և Իրանի հարաբերությունների մակարդակի բարձրացմանը։
«Ձեր պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում Դուք զգալի հաջողություններ եք արձանագրել»,- ասել է նախագահը և հույս հայտնել երկու երկրների համագործակցության հետագա սերտացման վերաբերյալ:
Դեսպանը շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար, իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել դիվանագիտական առաքելության ընթացքում Հանրապետության նախագահի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարության կողմից իրեն ցուցաբերված աջակցության և արդյունավետ աշխատանքի համար:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են երկու երկրների միջև բազմոլորտ համագործակցության օրակարգային հարցեր։ Կողմերը դրականորեն արձանագրել են տրանսպորտային և էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման գործում Հայաստանի և Իրանի արդյունավետ փոխգործակցությունը, ինչն ամուր հիմք է համագործակցության ընդլայնման համար։
Զրույցի ընթացքում մտքեր են փոխանակվել տարածաշրջանային իրողությունների շուրջ, որի համատեքստում դեսպանը շեշտել է, որ Իրանն աջակցում է տարածքային ամբողջականության և ինքնիշխանության հիմնարար սկզբունքների շրջանակում խաղաղության հաստատման ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի ջանքերին։ Հանրապետության նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել իրանական կողմից բազմիցս հնչեցված հստակ և հետևողական դիրքորոշումների համար։
Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև տնտեսական փոխգործակցության, ապրանքաշրջանառության և զբոսաշրջային հոսքերի շարունակական զարգացմանը՝ ընդգծելով այդ ուղղություններով առկա մեծ ներուժը։
