Հարկ է վերաշեշտել հայ և ռուս եկեղեցիների գործակցությունը։ Այդ մասին հայտարարել է Արամ Ա Վեհափառ Հայրապետը, փոխանցում է Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Կաթողիկոսությունից․
«Ղազախիստանի մէջ տեղի ունեցած միջ-կրօնական միջազգային գագաթնաժողովին պետութեան հրաւէրով իրենց մասնակցութիւնը բերին եւ բացման նիստին խօսքեր արտասանեցին Ռուսիոյ Քիրիլի Պատրիարքը եւ Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսը:
Այս առիթով, անոնք առանձին հանդիպում ունեցան: Երկու հոգեւոր պետերը լայնօրէն քննարկեցին հայ եւ ռուս եկեղեցիներու պատմական յարաբերութիւնը աւելի զարգացնելու կարելիութիւնները:
Կրօնական հարցերու առընթեր, արծարծուեցան նաեւ հարցեր ու մտահոգութիւններ` Հայաստանի եւ Ռուսիոյ յարաբերութեան, Ազրպէյճանի կողմէ Արցախի գրաւման, եկեղեցիներու ու պատմական-մշակութային կոթողներու նկատմամբ Ազրպէյճանի իշխանութեան վերաբերումին, ինչպէս նաեւ Պաքուի մէջ պատանդ պահուող Արցախի քաղաքական ու ազգային դէմքերու բանտարկութեան մասին: Յիշեալ հարցերուն գծով տեսակէտերու ու մօտեցումներու անկեղծ փոխանակում տեղի ունեցաւ երկու հոգեւոր պետերուն միջեւ։ Այս ծիրէն ներս Վեհափառ Հայրապետը յայտնեց, որ մեր ժողովուրդը մեծապէս երախտապարտ պիտի ըլլայ Արցախի կրօնական ու պատմական-մշակութային կառոյցներու պահպանման եւ հայ բանտարկեալներու շուտափոյթ ազատ արձակման գծով, եթէ նախագահ Փութին եւ Քիրիլ Պատրիարք իրենց անհրաժեշտ միջամտութիւնը կատարեն Ազրպէյճանի իշխանութեանց մօտ։
Յայտնենք, որ Քիրիլ Պատրիարքին եւ Արամ Ա. Կաթողիկոսին միջեւ սերտ բարեկամութիւն գոյութիւն ունի՝ շուրջ յիսուն տարիներու վրայ տարածուած: Անոնք իրենց երիտասարդութեան օրերէն սկսեալ միշտ միասին մասնակցած են միջ-եկեղեցական ժողովներու եւ սերտօրէն գործակցած:
