Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Ֆաթմա Աքսալը, Երևանում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում, նշեց, որ Հայաստանի, Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման նոր էջ է բացվում։

«Մենք քաջալերում ենք Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության համաձայնագրի գործընթացի մեկնարկը։ Բոլորս էլ օգուտ կքաղենք խաղաղությունից, որովհետև դա կարևոր է ոչ միայն մեր երկրների, այլև ամբողջ Հարավային Կովկասի համար։ Եթե խաղաղություն հաստատվի այս տարածաշրջանում, այն դրական ազդեցություն կունենա նաև աշխարհի այլ հատվածներում», - ասաց Աքսալը։

Հարցին՝ որպեսզի Թուրքիան բացի սահմանները պետք է ստորագրվի՞ Հայաստանի և Արդբեջանի միջև խաղաղության պայմանագիրը, Ասքալն ասաց, որ սահմանների բացման համար որևէ պայման չկա:

«Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության հաստատումն ու բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները շատ կարևոր են երկուստեք։

Հայաստանը հնարավորություն ունի խաղաղություն հաստատելու այդ երկրների միջև, բայց մենք որևէ պայման չենք դրել, որի պարագայում կբացվի սահմանը։ Այս պահին գործընթացը շարունակվում է երկխոսության ձևաչափով, և հուսով ենք ամեն ինչ կընթանա դրական», - ասաց նա։

Աքսալը նաև հույս հայտնեց, որ շուտով կբացվեն սահմանները և կավելանան ուղիղ թռիչքները: «Սահմանների վերաբերյալ հույս ունենք, որ բացումը տեղի կունենա հնարավորինս շուտ։ Այս պահին արդեն կան ուղիղ թռիչքներ, և մենք աշխատում ենք դրանք ավելացնելու ուղղությամբ»։
