ԵՄ-ի խաբկանքը՝ որպես Փաշինյանի նախընտրական հնարք

Եվրոպական ինտեգրման մասին հնչող խոսակցությունները Հայաստանի իշխանությունների ձեռքում դարձել են ընդամենը քաղաքական մանիպուլյացիայի միջոց։ Փաշինյանը փորձում է եվրաինտեգրման թեման ծառայեցնել սեփական նախընտրական նպատակներին՝ այն ներկայացնելով որպես առաջընթացի ու փոփոխությունների խոստում։ Իրականում, սակայն, այս բոլոր հայտարարությունները մնում են դատարկ խոսքեր․ Հայաստանը նույնիսկ չի հասել ԵՄ-ին անդամակցելու դիմում ներկայացնելու նվազագույն շեմին։ Սա հստակ ցույց է տալիս, որ խոստացված եվրաինտեգրումը ոչ թե քաղաքական ռազմավարություն է, այլ հանրությանը մոլորեցնելու և ներքին վարկանիշ բարձրացնելու պարզ քարոզչական հնարք։
Նույն կերպ իշխանության կողմից սեղանին դրված «խաղաղության պայմանագիրը» ոչ մի իրական բովանդակություն չունի։ Այն ավելի շատ հիշեցնում է խաբեություն, որտեղ յուրաքանչյուր ստորագրված փաստաթուղթ բերում է ոչ թե խաղաղության, այլ հերթական զիջումների։ Այս գործընթացի նպատակն իրականում ոչ թե Հայաստանի շահերի պաշտպանությունն է, այլ հերթական անգամ իշխանությունների կարճաժամկետ քաղաքական շահերի սպասարկումը։
ԵՄ-ին անդամակցելու անիրատեսական ծրագրերը բացահայտվում են նաև իշխանությունների իրական քաղաքականությամբ։ Փոխանակ ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտներ ամրապնդելու և հասարակության ազատությունները երաշխավորելու, նրանք զբաղված են այլախոհների դեմ ճնշումներով։ Այսօր Հայաստանում արդեն սովորական են դարձած քաղաքական հետապնդումները, ընդդիմախոսների լռեցումը, նույնիսկ եկեղեցու ներկայացուցիչների ձերբակալությունները։
Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը գնալով ավելի ավտորիտար մեթոդների է դիմում՝ փորձելով վերահսկել և ճնշել ցանկացած այլախոհություն։ Այս պայմաններում եվրոպական ինտեգրման մասին խոսակցությունները կորցնում են անգամ քաղաքական քննարկման իմաստը, քանի որ նման իրականությամբ Հայաստանը ոչ միայն հեռու է եվրոպական արժեքներից, այլև կանգնած է դրանց բոլորովին հակառակ բևեռում։
