Առաջին հերթին սերն է բերում ինձ Հայաստան։ Կապը դեպի իմ երկիրը, հողն ու ջուրը, մարդիկ, սարերը։ Իմ էությունը՝ որպես մարդ և որպես երաժիշտ, չէր կարող կերտվել առանց հայ լինելուս։ Ես չէի ուզենա ուրիշ երկրի ներկայացուցիչ լինել, որովհետև հայ լինելն ու այն գենոֆոնդը, որը կրում եմ, մեծ նվեր է»։
Sputnik Արմենիան զրուցել է աշխարհահռչակ ջութակահար, ՀՀ վաստակավոր արտիստ Սերգեյ Խաչատրյանի հետ։ Այս օրերին նա Հայաստանում է՝ պայմանավորված է մի քանի նշանակալի իրադարձություններով՝ Հայաստանի ֆիլհարմոնիկ նվագախմբի 100-ամյակ, Երևանի միջազգային 17-րդ երաժշտական փառատոն, ինչպես նաև ջութակի դպրոց ստեղծելու գաղափարը․
«Ջութակի դպրոց հիմնելու միտքը նոր չէ, դա տարիներ շարունակ իմ մեջ հասունացած պրոցես է։ Դա ոչ թե պարզապես կառույց ստեղծելն է, այլ հենց այն դպրոցը, այն որակը, այն գիտելիքը բերելը Հայաստան, որը ես ստացել եմ իմ ուսուցչից։ Մենք ունենք մեծ ներուժ, բայց կարիք կա պրոֆեսիոնալիզմի և որակական արմատական փոփոխության։ Ես ուզում եմ, որ երեխաները Հայաստանում ունենան այն հնարավորությունները, որ հիմա փնտրում են միայն արտասահմանում»։
Անվանի ջութակահարը խոսել է նաև երազանքի մասին, որը դեռ սպասում է իր ժամանակին՝ ապրել Հայաստանում։
