Քրեական ոստիկաններին Երևանի բնակիչ 28-ամյա Բագրատ Հ․-ն հայտնել է, որ նույն օրը «Facebook» սոցիալական կայքի «RatePro» էջով նկատել է շահավետ տարադրամի փոխանակման կետի գովազդ, որից հետո «Վոթսափ» հավելվածով կապվել է նշված էջի օգտատեր ներկայացած Դավիթի հետ, ում հետ պայամանավորվել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդի 3 հասցեում գործող «Դալմա Գարդեն Մոլում» փոխանակել 55 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար գումարը փոխարինել ՀՀ դրամով, որից հետո ժամը 17։00-ի սահմաններում նշված առևտրի կենտրոնում Դավիթի հրահանգով գումարը փոխանցել է «51 QV 551» համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի վարորդին, ով էլ իր հերթին այն փոխանցել է մեկ ուրիշ անձի և այդ եղանակով Դավիթը խաբեությամբ իրենից հափշտակել է 55 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլարը։
Քրեական ոստիկանների կողմից ձեռնարկված միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ «51 QV 551» համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի վարորդ է հանդիսանում Երևանի բնակիչ 38-ամյա Արարատ Թ․-ն և ձեռնարկվում են միջոցառումներ արարքը կատարած անձի տվյալները պարզելու, նրան և հափշտակած գումարը հայտնաբերելու և վարույթն իրականացնող մարմնին ներկայացնելու ուղղությամբ։
