Անցյալ տարվա սեպտեմբերին, Ալիսա Մորրոուն մեղավոր է ճանաչվել «կենդանիների հանդեպ դաժան վերաբերմունք ցուցաբերելու» հոդվածով: Նա փակել է իր շնիկին կեղտոտ տանը և գնացել է:
Մեկ շաբաթ շունն առանց խնամքի է մնացել: Երբ եկել են փրկարարները, նրանք ապշել են շան վիճակից: Սոված, տանջված շունը հազիվ էր շնչում: Ահա, թե ինչ դատավճիռ է կայացրել Չիկոնետտին շնիկի անսիրտ տիրուհու համար…
Նա դատապարտեց կնոջը քաղաքային աղբանոցում 8-ժամյա աշխատանքի: Կինը խոստովանեց, որ դա զզվելի է, և ավելի լավ է կլիներ, եթե դրա փոխարեն մի քանի օր բանտում մնար: Դատավորի խոսքերը հետևյալն էին. «Եթե ձեր սիրտը կխառնի, թող խառնի…»:
