«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Ռոլլինգը երբեմն կոչում են նաև սքեյթբորդ: Անգլերենից թարգմանաբար «roller» նշանակում է անվաչմուշկ, «skating» նշանակում է չմուշկներով սահել, իսկ «board» նշանակում է տախտակ, այսինքն՝ սքեյթբորդ նշանակում է «տախտակի վրա անվաչմուշկներով սահել»: Ռոլլինգի ժողովրդականությունն սկսել է աճել անցյալ դարի 80-ականներից՝ իր աճող ժողովրդականությամբ հիշեցնելով սերֆինգը: Հիշեցնենք, որ սերֆինգն ալիքների վրայով սահքն է կամ, ինչպես ասում են, Հավայան տախտակների վրա սահքը:

Այնուամենայնիվ, ռոլլինգ սպորտաձևի արմատներն ավելի հին են, քան սերֆինգինը և հետագայում նրա հիմքով ստեղծված սքեյթբորդինգինը: Անվաչմուշկները հայտնվել են դեռ 18-րդ դարի վերջին, երբ որոշ մարդիկ սովորական չմուշկներին փայտե անվակներ են ամրացրել։ Հետագայում, մետաղական առանցքակալների և պլաստիկ անվակների հայտնվելով, հնարավոր դարձավ նույնիսկ մրցումներ անցկացնել անվաչմուշկների տարբեր տեսակներով: 1910 թվականից ի վեր անվաչմուշկներով վազորդները մրցել են հատուկ աշխարհի առաջնություններում. տղամարդիկ՝ 500-ից 20000 մետր, կանայք՝ 500-ից 5000 մետր հեռավորության վրա: Անգլիայում 20-րդ դարի սկզբին հայտնվել է ռինկ-հոկեյը: Դա անվաչմուշկներով գնդակով հոկեյն է: Այդ խաղի Եվրոպայի առաջնություններն անցկացվում են դեռ 1926 թվականից, իսկ աշխարհի առաջնությունները՝ սկսած 1936 թվականից։

1947 թվականից անցկացվում են անվաչմուշկային գեղասահքի աշխարհի առաջնություններ։ Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից հետո ԱՄՆ-ում սկսել են անցկացվել անվաչմուշկների վեցօրյա մրցավազքեր (աշխարհի առաջնությունները՝ 1949 թվականից)։ Այդ մրցույթում ամեն օր մասնակիցները կտրում են առնվազն 60 կմ ճանապարհ՝ անցկացնելով մոտավորապես 50 մրցավազք ամբողջ շաբաթվա ընթացքում:

Անվաչմուշկների համար նաև հատուկ մարզադաշտեր են կառուցվում։ Սրընթաց սահքի մրցումներում մարզիկները մրցում են ոլորապտույտ ասֆալտե կամ բետոնե վազքուղիներով: Նրանք արագությամբ շատ չեն զիջում լեռնադահուկորդներին և սահնակավազքի մրցորդներին (80 կմ/ժ): Ռոլլինգ դերբին տեղի է ունենում բավականին կտրուկ՝ 30 աստիճան թեքությամբ հատուկ վազքուղիների վրա։

Անվաչմուշկային սպորտի բոլոր տեսակները միավորված են Անվաչմուշկի միջազգային ֆեդերացիայում (FIRS): Այն հիմնադրվել է 1924 թվականին Շվեյցարիայում։ Ենթադրվում է, որ Եվրոպայի, Ամերիկայի, Ավստրալիայի և Օվկիանիայի 33 երկրում 1,5 միլիոն մարդ է զբաղվում ռոլլինգով։

Ռոլլինգը նաև օգտագործվում է դահուկորդների կողմից՝ ամառային պայմաններում մարզվելու համար։ Այն հնարավորություն է տալիս ընդօրինակել դահուկավազքի տեխնիկան և օգնում է չկորցնել մարզավիճակը ամառվա ընթացքում
