Օգոստոսի 1-ի երեկոյան Քրեական ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչությունում հաղորդում էր տվել փակ բաժնետիրական ընկերություններից մեկի տնօրենը: Ըստ հաղորդման` վերջին 15 օրվա ընթացքում կոտրել են Նժդեհի փողոցում գտնվող իրենց պահեստի դռան փականը և գողացել 10 միլիոն դրամի տնտեսական ապրանքներ:
Համայնքային ոստիկանության Շենգավիթի բաժնում ստացված օպերատիվ տվյալն իրացնելիս պարզվել է, որ հանցագործությանը մասնակցել է նաև Արարատի մարզի Սիս գյուղի բնակիչ 23-ամյա մի երիտասարդ` իր վարած «Ֆորդ Տրանզիտ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով: Հոկտեմբերի 1-ին նա ձերբակալվել ու տեղափոխվել է բաժին:
Ավտոմեքենան տեղափոխվել է պահպանվող հատուկ տարածք:
Ըստ նախնական տվյալների` հանցագործությունը տեղի է ունեցել հուլիսի 30-ին` առավոտյան ժամը 5-ին: Բացի վարորդից մասնակցել է ևս երկու հոգի, որոնք Շենգավիթի համայնքային ոստիկանների բացատրական աշխատանքի շնորհիվ ներկայացել են բաժին։
