Այսօր նրա ընտանիքի անդամները, հարազատներն ու պարզապես նրան հեռվից ճանաչող մեծ թվով մարդիկ այցելեցին նրա շիրիմին` խոնարհվելու և հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու:
Հակոբն այն նվիրյալներից էր, ով կամավոր մեկնեց ռազմաճակատ` իր հարազատ Մարտակերտի զորամաս, այնտեղից էլ ճակատ:
Մարտական խնդիր լուծելիս Հակոբը նահատակվեց` իր անունը հավերժ գրելով անմահների ցանկում:
Հակոբի հայրը` Արա Ռոստոմյանը, շարունակում է տղայի առաքելությունը, պաշտպանելով այն արժեքներն ու սկզբունքները, որոնք իրենց ընտանիքում մշտապես առաջնային են:
